Since it's been funded by George Soros and appears to have a less than savory approach to "protesting", I think it is an insult to black people to claim that ALL are members of BLM.

Respond? YOU STARTED IT! Constantly making little insinuations about the character of RPF members who are voting for Trump and flat out lying about Trump's positions. No one takes issue with calling him out on his real stances on things, but there is no reason to lie. What it shows is a complete lack of character of the one doing it.

If they're a terrorist group, they're a shitty one. Most terrorist groups jump over backwards claiming credit for the violence - they don't try to disavow themselves of it.

Even the police close ranks around themselves and try to justify the horrific actions of those within their organization.

From what I can tell, most of the BLM people have said they don't condone the violence, but they understand it as blowback to the systemic problems with the way "laws" are enforced.

The only cure for racism is to get people to stop thinking in terms of collectivism. Difficult, since it seems to be waxing large in the country right now.

Bunch of crap if you ask me. Says "All Lives Matter" doesn't work because we need to focus on the "worst oppressed", being blacks, then when they are "liberated" everyone will benefit. So the idea I guess is like "trickle-down liberty". Once the most-oppressed is freed, the freedom explosion, I suppose, will effect all us lesser-oppressed and free us via shock and awe.

I'm really getting bored with all the amateur minds trying to philosophize their way into solving moral problems they barely have a grasp on. With the "racially oppressed", in their writings, it isn't even about not getting a cab, or getting looks in public, or getting called racial slurs, it's about "implicit bias" and statistical anomalies. Too many "white hetero-patriarchal" (Alicia's words from above article) people in power. But when you define a problem away from individual actions and individual accountability and towards statistics and groups, you are naturally going to apply solutions in groups.

It is just as Ron Paul has said. This form of "diversity" being pushed, isn't an inclusive diversity, but a divisive one, where every "pride" group is scrambling to establish itself as the most victimized and thus the one most qualified to be at the top of the victim pyramid. To be an "ally" of these movements, one must accept this organization of society and recognize your level of participation as victim or oppressor. I guess, in my case, I'd be one of the ones holding the "white supremacy ends with me" signs.

It's madness. Do people even understand what the cause of these problems are beyond this neandrathal interpretation of "it's haters!" Do they have a well enough defined goal to actually indicate to their followers any type of progress besides "make straight white men not in power any more"?

My Christian view of all this is that this country is completely lost. We have every luxury except peace of mind. We have the biggest army but the most fear. Why do we suppose this is? Who took our peace of mind.

Probably the most famous "lost city" is Sodom (of Sodom and Gomorrah fame). Because of the city's connection with "sodomy" and the story of Lot, people tend to think it was a land full of perverts, and that's why God destroyed it.

But if you read Romans 1:18-32 you'll understand that it's usually a fundamental violation of God's law that causes him to essentially curse a person with more self-destructive desires and lusts, as Romans says, "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections..".

I point this out only to reinforce my point that Sodom, although famous for perversion from the Lot story, was destroyed for more fundamental ailments. And we don't have to speculate, as God mentions it in Ezekiel 16:49:

Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

Let's see, what place do we know that is heavy on pride, is obsessed with food, and is full of fat lazy people and full of excuses why it doesn't help the rest of the world?

Famed libertarian, Charles Murray, wrote a controversial book on the bell curve a few years ago. It started a huge kerfuffle at the time. In any case, there is a correlation there, but it in no way applies to this conversation.

Police interactions have a class disparity. But class disparities often look like racial disparities - not only in the minds of the protesters, but also in the minds of the police and observers. And because reality is affected by how we perceive it, there are racial outcomes. On all sides. This has nothing to do with intelligence, no matter how much LE wants to take the discussion there based on P4P's satirical post.
