Watch, if you can, Lindsey Graham as he grills SecDef nominee Chuck Hagel. There aren't many things more stomach-turning than watching a prisscake lord his power over someone who really can't fight back. Then again, what a perfect model of a chickenhawk Neocon.



It's sad to watch Hagel grovel and distance himself from his previous statements about Israel. But then, if you want to make it in DC, you have to know what to kiss and when. Hagel's learning.

And his answer to Israeli lobby influence and intimidation in Congress should have been an "Absolutely! Hell yes. Who is intimidated by the Israeli lobby? You for one Sen Graham." And then crush them with facts.
