Exactly. It's a terrible idea and would do way more harm than good. If you're gonna vote in straw poll, you'd better be from Iowa.

I'd like to encourage any out of staters who are thinking about coming to Iowa to consider coming down for a week or weekend and setting up a booth at one of the 95 Iowa county fairs that will be happening this summer. More info in this thread:
