The debate on Friday included only Lee Wrights and Gary Johnson - not sure if anyone else is left but they are probably the only serious candidates at this point.

Gary Johnson is expected to win and select Judge Jim Gray (who endorsed Gary) as VP

I'll have a heck of a lot easier time voting for Gary as a third party candidate than Barr or Baldwin in 2008. Wish it would mean something more than it will.

on now. about to choose the presidential and vice presidential candidate.

one delegate just attempted to suspend the rules to nominate Ron for president loolol

For Libertarians, I thought the VP was selected by the convention, not by the presidential nominee. Has this been changed?

It is selected by convention but during Gary's acceptance speech he requested that people select Jim Gray as VP

Well, if Ron Paul's name doesn't make the ballot in 2012, I'll be voting for Johnson/Gray.

when RP gets the nomination for the GOP.. the libertarians better endorse RP.

With GOP, independents, former obama democrats, and libertarians.. no way we can lose the general elections.

Did anyone catch the cross dressers? I spotted several. It was a little weird watching it with my wife's grandmother, trying to explain how libertarianism is great, how Reagan said it was the heart of conservatism....then bam.

He'll probably be a reasonably strong candidate. idk if as good as Harry Brown but whatever.
