To be honest I think Collins and Lew both talk a little bit too much about things they aren't really consciously correct about before the fact of the issue arises.

Now that's not to say that Ron or his supporters should've been alienated as much as they have been but doing and saying exactly what Ron did in 2012 was a guaranteed way to lose. Nobody is at fault for where Rand is more so than Donald Trump and the people who pretended to care about liberty who are now on his bandwagon. There is literally nothing you can do to save a country that wants to commit suicide, and my only hope is that people have become so utterly stupid that they forget how to vote, which probably ain't happening.

There's some blame to go around, but ultimately the problem with America is that...well...It's full of Americans.

I realize you worked with Ron's campaign a bit but I'm not convinced you have any real insider information to Rand's. Even if you have a direct line to Ron and text him every day, I'm not even sure Ron knows what's even going on in his son's campaign

Matt, you are just wrong. You've been wrong all along. You keep claiming that the Paul "campaign" made this mistake or that mistake when in reality it was the media (and you know this). The same crap they did back then they are doing again (like omitting Rand's name from the poll results). You know this and yet you keep harping on what YOU think "they" did wrong. Tell me, what possible strategy can overcome ZERO (almost) coverage in the media??

The country is no different today than it was the day Rand won his Senate seat. Rand ran a campaign designed to win in 2010, and for whatever reason he decided to chuck that blueprint in the garbage in 2016 and run a "different" kind of campaign that was doomed to failure. Rand and his staff are 100% to blame for the current state of the campaign.

Whether he had Ron campaign with him or not is frankly beside the point. If he had run a good campaign he wouldn't have needed Ron and having Ron attached to the sort of garbage campaign that he did run wasn't going to make any difference.

My guess is that Collins' hopes of being a part of this campaign went down the drain when Benton was indicted. Collins was always a big butt kisser of that dingle berry.

I think people are just mad because you can be a bit of a debbie downer, we are fighting against gravity and the will of the fossil fuel and military industrial complex so they don't need to any more help demotivating us... it's best if we keep everyone as positive and motivated as possible. Most of us are still butt hurt over 2012.
