Levin just name dropped Rand Paul for President

In the current GOP you need them on your side to win.
Yes, you do, which is why I think everyone here is slowly coming to the conclusion that accomplishing anything the current GOP is going to be like being a truck stop rough trader: if it doesn't hurt it's at least going to leave a funny taste in your mouth, and if you're not committed to the actual act of selling yourself, then you're going to come out if it realizing that what you got out of it really wasn't worth what you went through.

There were some phenomenal victories on the state level all over the country.
Nullification is happening. We need to get behind that bandwagon and push. NOW.

I doubt they will support Rand, they will find someone else to latch on to however I would expect them to cover him and give him opportunities because he's an elected senator and will be top tier

If you all want to win next time, you are going to have to suck it up and stop the comments about levin, hannity, limbaugh and the rest of the lot. Haven't we learned anything? In the current GOP you need them on your side to win.

Like someone's mama said, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Probably a winning strategy, but sometimes it ain't easy. ;)

Rand Paul - 2016

Not all conservative pundits are equal so to speak. Based on their backgrounds & general philosophy, I have a good idea who will support Rand and who won't. Here's the breakdown:

Rush Limbaugh - Possibly our number one enemy when the primary season comes around. He has already coronated Marco Rubio as the great savior. 0% chance he throws his weight behind Rand, unless something strange occurs.

Sean Hannity - Another gate keeper who is still closely aligned with the Republican establishment. He will be backing Rubio strongly as well.

Mark Levin
- Very much an insurrectionist compared to his peers. Despite his national security paranoia, he has always been distrustful of the Republican Establishment. Levin has much greater comprehension of liberty than his fellow peers. He always reminds his listeners how the Republican establishment rebuked and mocked Reagan the prior two times he challenged the Republican orthodoxy in the late 1970s. I say it's 50-50 he backs Rand.

Glenn Beck - Another rebel who loathes the GOP establishment as exhibited by his fiery CPAC speech and abrupt dismissal from Fox. There is a very good chance he supports Rand and throws his large following behind him.

Why should we think Rand is compromised if they support us or name-drop us? If anything, it's more genius political maneuvering because Rand has never catered to these guys. In order for us to win we are going to need to garner support beyond these forums and Ron's current base. If they just come to us without Rand doing any catering than that's a victory for us.

They are all liars. Whoever listens to them deserves to be misinformed.

If it's necessary to lend credibility to these blowhards to win, I'll take the loss.

With that attitude you'll never be part of a winning GOP primary campaign.

Nobody is saying to listen to them, just don't shit talk about them all over the internet pissing off their listeners.

No it's not easy, I'm not a fan of any of them. But if we are going to win the next primary, we have to tolerate or for those who can't just avoid them.

You could add Joe Scarborough to that list of potential Rand backers. I actually think we'd have the majority of these people in Rand's corner.

By the way Scarborough had a pretty good vent on his show today about the republican party. I think it had some merit to those looking forward.

Morning Joe: It's about addition, not subtraction

Even though I can't pretend to like any of those hosts, I'm not gonna deny the fact that it would be a pleasant change having any of them actually give someone of our ilk a fair shake w/o nipping at our heels every step of the way.

Just my opinion, but unless our candidate changes his views on foreign policies and becomes willing to put Israel first, they will continue to "nip at our heels". And I reserve the right to criticize them for their neocon ways because I'm more interested in saving the country than a "winning GOP strategy".

If Levin, Limbaugh, or any of the other establishment kooks come out and support him in 2016, I know Rand has been completely compromised.

At some point we're either going to become mainstream or we're going to fade into the sunset. If we're going to win in 16 we're going to need the Rush's and Levins of the world. Most people got their Aha moment at some point here. What makes you think Rush and them wont? All they do is spew anti-left stuff and pro-right stuff. If they want to spew Rand good for them.

Rush Limbaugh's job is not to tell the truth. His job is to keep the people confused in order to keep the status quo in power. Serious question: Do you think that Maha Rushie does not know the Federal Reserve Bank should be audited? Of course he knows that. When the Federal Reserve System comes crashing down after an audit then the people win their freedom. Rush knows that.

How long do you think it would take to get an audit of the bank if Rush, Hannity, Levin, and all the others were to call for honest sound money on their daily shows? Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and the rest of the MSM talk show hosts are not the side of liberty. They are protecting the bankers and they get well paid to do it.

Maha Rushie
Rush Limbaugh is one of the most popular and highly compensated radio talk show hosts in the world with a net worth estimated at $300 million and an annual salary north of $40 million.
