Okay I just have to give some major props to Mr. Benoit (pronounced ben-wah, like the ~oh never mind~ it's French). He is the leader of what I think is the third or fourth largest RP meetup in the country (#93, San Diego), and when I lived there I was thoroughly amazed at the energy and passion this man has for spreading the word of liberty. In fact, he is a one man friggin' LIBERTY FACTORY!!!
He has a 48' long Ron Paul sign in his back yard which faces a major freeway (that's 48 feet for all of you who haven't seen Spinal Tap), both his home and his office have been turned into daily hangouts for sign making and strategizing, he has probably spent well into five figures on promoting RP just based on the number of slim jims, cards, signs, shirts, etc. that he always seems to have in his back pocket or the trunk of his car, and thanks to him and the wonderful staff of assistant organizers he has under his wing, 93 has something going on almost EVERY DAY for not only RP but a whole slew of local candidates, including Mike himself.
He is running on the Libertarian ticket for Congressional District 52 in a crowded field which includes Duncan Hunter, Jr. Check out this clip of his answer to a question at a recent debate about how he will uphold the Constitution once elected, watch some other videos, check out his site, and then if you like what you see and hear, send him some money!
Peace.

Comments: Strong on the Constitution, rule of law, and the rights of the individual and property. He is greedy for liberty and wants to limit the ever expansive government. He is a small business owner, chairman for the SD Libertarian Party, and organizer for the Ron Paul meetup group in San Diego.
Mike Copass, Democratic Candidates for the 53rd district

Comments: he is a scientist and is considered a progressive democrat. he is competing against congresswoman susan davis, who is a war profiteer. he has a primary in june where he has to beat this tool out of office.

Comments: This guy received severe burns from the 2003 forest fire to save his family. I talked to him briefly and he is committed to making san diego safe from fires after to fires caught the city ill prepared. you defintely want a guy with passion and conviction to run for office.
County Board of Supervisors, District 3
John Vandoorn

Comments: Van Doorn has a big itch to scratch which is directed towards corruption and incompetence in our local county government where there is an active participation to break up families for compensation. his itch is bigger since he was a recipient of the courts actions and therefore wants to run for office to correct its malignment.
