Lesson to be learned from NV

You're exactly right. They were all on a first name basis, even with their children which they brought. It was like the twilight zone.

When we went to vote for delegates, they wrote each delegates first name and last initial on the board and we stood in front of our name. A woman wearing a Romney shirt knew all the names of the Romney delegates without even asking, even though most of the Romney people there seemed a little unclear on what they needed to do to run as a delegate.

Romney zombies were bussed in UT. If they win the straw poll, good for them. The only thing that matters is delegates and we're pulling in a strong number so far.

I am so depressed that I couldn't go. I had major surgery (stupid appendix, too), can't get up....but the thing to be learned from here is that advertising works. I have heard so many Ron Paul ads here for months! The official campaign did its job here.

BTW the mormom buildings are not churches, they are called stakes and they are on almost every other block, because this(Vegas) is the town mormonism built. So don't worry, every caucus was near a stake... LOL.

BTW... our health care system is in shambles in Las Vegas. I had to sit on a gurney in the hallway at the hospital...no rooms available! ALL NIGHT Then after the surgery they kicked me out while I was still waking up from surgery. My husband knows the hospital owners and pulled some strings to get me a place to recover in Pre-op for a couple hours after the surgery.

Sorry for the rambling....Morphine, ya know.

Sorry to hear that. With Romney's plan for universal healthcare, imagine your experience now times that by your experience at the DMV.

Its not over yet.

Why did you waste makeing this thread?

Its not over until its over.

We have more campaigning to do - IF we take the time to communicate and LEARN from others we know where we need to work on.

I read about every election on here so I can do better here in Virginia FEB 12.

KEEP THE INFO COMING !!!!!

Not only medical doctors. Ron Paul is the only candidate with a scientific education. That should appeal to engineers and others who are trained in analytical critical thinking and who respect the restrictions of nature rather than comitting to wishful thinking.

People should be fed up with lawyers, actors, priests and family members of ex-politicians running for office...

The well-offs might appreciate Romney for his business skills. But it is very important to differentiate between doing business like citizen, and running a public office. A governor or a president should not do business at all! The state should not participate in the game, so to speak, but rather act like a referee. And a good player doesn't make a good referee.

The weird thing is, that with interest rates so low, their CD's and savings get them squat. That is what does not make sense to me. Rich people are SO much better off when interest rates are high..

I live by a country club and Fred Thompson did come there for a fundrasing dinner which could explain the couple of Thompson votes here recieved in my precinct. I think just by showing up to event and places like that Dr. Paul can dispell the rumors or misperception that the upper class may have about him. These are people extremely involved in politics and will get out and vote.

Well put.
