Simple question, between Obama and McCain who would you rather see in office?

The question is NOT who would you vote for, but rather assuming one of them gets in - who would be less destructive to the country?

HAHAH well since there Both just as Terrible it have to come down to who would most likly have the shortest stint in the whitehouse ? That might be McCain dair considering his battles with his health problems.

Its Crazy that his kids and wife are very supportive of his Run for Office because If My grandpa had all this battles with his health I sure as hell would say the last thing he needs is "all that stress" on top of his other problems ,but thats just me

Obama... I think he is like putting gas on a fire that has half destroyed the house, it will quickly burn the rest and we can start to rebuild. McCain would be like trying to slow down the fire but instead of re-building in 2-4 years we might be able to re-build in 6-8 years. I'd rather assume and get it over with.

McCain will motivate the socialists and keep the congress socialists, he will weed out non-fascist republicans, in 2012 he will run again against the new socialist candidate and a fully socialist congress. Whereas Obama will bring on "voluntary" service and universal healthcare now, he will get the $ to finally bottom out and the sheeple will wake up. By 2013 it will be a whole new country will liberty beginning to prevail.

I am a big picture thinker so Obama for me.

McCain would be more of a lame duck if elected compared to obama. Besides obama scares me more because he is a very capable manipulator. McCain will only be elected if there is a major national security crisis, and his support will be short lived.

McCain would keep some instance of checks and balances against a Democratic House and Senate - Obama would most likely rubber stamp everything.

Obama will bankrupt the country with social programs and bring us socialized medicine both of which won't end. McCain will bankrupt the country with wars that will end. (but Obama will get us into those wars too).

Obama wants to sell out our countries sovereignty to the UN and bring us a international tax, McCain won't.

Obama is a rabid gun grabber, McCain isn't.

Obama is a hard core socialist, McCain is socialist lite.

They are both really bad news! - Like a T-Shirt I saw... "We're Screwed '08"

I had to break the tie and go with Obama... I strongly disagree with some of his positions but he at least is taking charge and acting like a leader which is more than McCain can say. Maybe it will be enough to win some favor internationally and get our economy restarted. McCain will simply be another 4 years of Bush and I fear the further decline we would face under such conditions.
