Learn About Murray Sabrin before tomorrow's Money Bomb.

website down but...

Know a couple things...

1.) Our staff will be here all night long if need be, to get it back up..

2.) We have a dedicated server at Network Solutions, one of America's largest web host providers. We were told by them at the time we signed the contract that this would never happen.

3.) SO MANY FREEDOM LOVING PEOPLE went to the website right after Ron Paul sent out his email, that you (yes, YOU GUYS) managed to crash this server.

Remember, we were told, "This will never happen" and yet the freedom movement managed to crash "A Dedicated Server" on one of the largest web host providers in the United States.

Know what that means? The Freedom Movement is FAR FROM OVER...

I just hope people are willing to revisit and donate once we the site back up...

This is really cool though.

We're pulling for ya' Team Murray!

Get the site up, and have Murray get in touch Ron.

why has the site been down all day?

n/m, just read the posts above.

well, i'll keep trying.

his site is still down: (

Traffic overload can be handled immediately, unless the port is capped at 10mbit, or 20mbits/s. If it is capped and the switch allows for QOS than they can upcap it usually to 100mbits/s What this tells me is that either
A. the port is capped at a smaller allotment and the traffic is too great
b. the port can not be uncapped because the hardware is limited.
c. they are re-negotiating the contract because of the bandwidth spike.

If a true crash ensued because of too much traffic the host company could have temporarily killed the port. In this instance that is likely because uncapping a port usually takes all of 1 minute to do. If they killed the port than Network Solutions is either trying to strong arm the Murray Sabrin team into renegotiating the contract. In either event Network Solutions doesn't seem to be an honest broker here since the site is still down. Shame on them.

Traffic overload can be handled immediately...

I know that traffic overload was hinted as being the cause of this outage but currently that has nothing to do with the service being unavailable. I didn't try to access murraysabrin.com earlier so I can't speak to that.

What I do know, as is immediately obvious from anyone trying to access murraysabrin.com, is that DNS is currently broken for the domain. This has nothing to do with traffic load. Basically, the DNS servers responsible for the murraysabrin.com domain are not working, so the request for the site never even goes to the web server hosting the site.

One of the 2 DNS servers responsible for the domain is a.dns.hostway.net. Look at what happens when you try and ask that server about the murraysabrin.com domain:

Code:
steve@enochroot:~$ nslookup murraysabrin.com. a.dns.hostway.net
Server: a.dns.hostway.net
Address: 66.113.129.243#53

** server can't find murraysabrin.com: REFUSED

Same result with the 2nd DNS server. Basically, this means that the server responsible for the domain has not been configured with the information on the murraysabrin.com domain. Speaking from years of experience, this is most likely operator error, as once the record is correctly entered, it is not likely to disappear.

disclaimer: following is a rant

I do find it somewhat ironic that a Ron Paul republican would use Network Solutions to register their domain, or host any web services. Network Solutions got it's start via government subsidies, and due to their contacts in the early days of the web, were granted a monopoly on domain registrations. They have lost pretty much any tech credibility they had about a decade ago, and have just been going down hill for about as long. They are leaders only in underhanded schemes like "domain kiting". IMO, only someone without a lot of technical experience in the hosting world would use their services. Anyone else probably picks them because they recognize the brand name with no real knowledge of their bad business practices and company history. They aren't competitive in pricing or service, but are just a result of the massive inertia of their early days as the only domain registrar in town.

What a coincidence that General Atlantic, LLC (the private equity firm that owns Network Solutions) has:
  1. a CEO (William Ford), who's on the board of the NYSE (remember, Murray has been against the Federal Reserve since 1976)
  2. a Managing Director (Steven Denning), who's part of the CFR and the neocon Brookings Institute
  3. another Managing Director (Matthew Nimetz), who's the biggest Democrat hack around and has been a key part of Clinton's interventionism, and even goes back to the LBJ Administration!
We will get to the bottom of this, rest assured. The Freedom Movement cannot be stopped!

I'm not a troll. But I remember someone posting on here that he endorsed McCain.
Is this true?

I sent a letter to him on his YouTube account and he replied pretty quickly.

Here is his reply:
"Thanks Eric. Sorry about the late reply. We've been working 12-14 hours per day. Please let everyone you know about the Feb. 29 money bomb, www.scholaroffreedom.com.

Regards,
Murray

Good Luck

Don't know if it was from him or one of his staff but cool anyway.

The site appeared to be down to me, but I hit the reload button and it worked. I have Firefox, so maybe others can fix it by doing this as well?

Are you seriously implying that the technical difficulties experienced by the murraysabrin.com site is a result of foul play on the part of high level management of the domain registrar?

Let me explain why that sounds absolutely ridiculous.

First, as I mentioned in a previous post, the DNS servers that were broken and keeping people from going to murraysabrin.com were hostway servers, not network solutions. Second, murraysabrin.com is hosted with hostway, not network solutions. Network Solutions is the domain registrar. Did the site just get moved to a different host? If so, the migration was pretty poorly handled, and that's the fault of the site administrator. If not, then Network Solutions had nothing to do with it, and some of the people speaking for the murraysabrin.com site are pretty confused individuals.
