sec of state is willing to work with albert in resolving this, but the sec wont say if they will or wont recount, walking a straight line...

the guy from the we the people has been talking with a leading attorney on election laws...nh rules say candidate must pay 2k fees, then says candidate shall give guarantee of payment of recount expenses and there is no time limit in the rules any where about time of payment.

wtp guy has been talking to legislators in NH, so they think the sec of state is misreading the law.

extension was given about repayment earlier today for tomorrow morning. the leading attorney is going to draft a letter for tomorrow in case they say its to late.

24 cents per ballot for recount. 55,600 total.

NH law requires recount must begin on jan 16.

therefore we must recieve check by 3 pm on jan 15. once check is collected we shall begin collecting vote for recount. if more money is required after that recount will pause until further payment is made.

albert says more people can present the payment in full in certified check tomorrow morning. the paypal money in the mean time is still locked up.

paypal doesnt like transferting 55k from paypal to someones personal account, they thought it was being stolen.

Alll documents have been faxed to paypal and they should be contacting about unfreezing account within the hour. they dont know if they can use the paypal money in the morning due to getting it quickly.

oops looks like NH intended to MAIL the letter to howard about payment, but he happened to walk in and they gave him the letter. Looks like he wouldn't have even gotten it on time if they mailed it.

apparently they are dis organised and they had Hoped albert would drop the recount thing. They taped the disorganization and will release it on Google video soon.

Yeah that Rose lady from Granny Warriors up in Michigan really ripped the campaign a new one. Sounds like she had a real reason to be pissed off though.

Molly, darling, what planet are you talking about? Right now all we have is Albert on the scene out there. How many petitions from what source would you expect to have notarized by 9:00 a.m.? This is going to come down to our regular muscle applied first thing in the morning.

How did anyone expect to get a certified check out of PayPal on same-day notice? To my knowledge, PayPal doesn't even issue certified checks.

No..please see my thread above..they do these things FOR THE SECURITY of their own account holders and users and would NOT have frozen this account if they ad known a large amount of money would come in and out ahead of time. As a person who did have someone fraudulently break in to my account once, I appreciate their concerns. I have been with paypal for 12 years, and probabl.y done 500 transactions and I do not think they do this for any other reason than those stated. Of course, I could be wrong..but I do not think so.

Lame, so when a Chip-in/Paypal account is setup with the goal of 55K or whatever, I guess that's not enough notice that you're expecting 55K sometime soon, and will be withdrawing it

I was always wondering about this. I thought someone local was going to get a cashiers check and then granny was going to pay them back.

Ya you cant rush Paypal, they are slow as hell. And often freeze accounts for no reason. Dont do anything fast with them that you cant pay yourself and get compensated back.

The petition would come from Mr. Howard himself, notarized and certified that he has presented the money to the state of new hampshire in a timely fashion and his good faith effort was thwarted by an institutional error. How would I know? Ask a lawyer. He'll be there with lawyers in the morning and a bank check? I'd like to get some sleep tonight.
