Late breaking developments: recount [Mod: Unverified info]

I think they will work it out. They should have notified Paypal of what they were using their account for. I believe this would not have happened then. Please copy my above post in case there is more of this stuff coming up so we will know how to inform Paypal ahead of time.
Thanks

No..please see my thread above..they do these things FOR THE SECURITY of their own account holders and users and would NOT have frozen this account if they ad known a large amount of money would come in and out ahead of time. As a person who did have someone fraudulently break in to my account once, I appreciate their concerns. I have been with paypal for 12 years, and probabl.y done 500 transactions and I do not think they do this for any other reason than those stated. Of course, I could be wrong..but I do not think so.

It doesn't much how warranted their concerns are if we still get screwed in the end.

I don't care if that sounds wrong, but it's true.

It doesn't matter why they did it.

They did it. It needs some serious press on the Internet.

I did

I did see your thread and like you I have used paypal for years and have used it for close to 1,000 transactions. I never had a problem the majority of the time I was using it but then all of a sudden, my accounts were being frozen and people who I did not know were being authorized to withdraw my funds without my permission. I started looking around and found www.paypalsucks.com and found out I was not alone. Once those issues started they seemed to happen like clockwork and it got to the point I refuse to use that company anymore. Maybe I am jumping the gun but I find the timing of all of this to be HIGHLY suspicious. I agree that I should not have called for a boycott and that it was just initial anger taking over on my part but we all need to find out exactly why this happened and why it happened when it did because if this election has taught me anything it is that our enemies will stop at nothing to restrain this movement and whether we like it or not, we have to be on guard for fraud all the time!

With all do respect to Oyate, I'll wait until there's a statement on Granny's web site before getting too worked up about it.

I had a feeling this was going to happen........ Wonder if they'll give us a little bit more time or be jerks and say that we didn't meet their deadline.

Well, if people were withdrawing funds without your permission I would think one of 2 things..either
A. They all wanted refunds from something you had sold them or
B. Paypal would have fixed it had you called them.

I had $500 taken from my bank account through Paypal by someone unknown. They IMMEDIATELY disabled my account because it looked suspicious to them (not to a vendor, etc.) They got me my money back and reenabled my account. Made me happy....

Me too..I think they will take the 55 grand..lol

If I had known that Chip In is affiliated with paypal, then I would of said something. To get 60,000$ in two days and to ask a transfer looks highly suspicious.... No wonder they got their account frozen.

a.) no that is not what happened

b. ) I called them 40 times, sent 65 e-mails and 4 registered letters and only got form letters in response. They finally responded when my lawyer contacted them and my money was back within 3 hours. Those people are crooks in my still, for the time being, constitutionally protected opinion!

What's all this about Paypal? The fight now is with the NH Secretary of State. Paypal and the Grannies are irrelevant at this moment.

The We The People people were ready, at the last moment, to temporarily provide the funds but the NH Secretary of State's office managed to delay them past the deadline.

As per Albert Howard's email, "The Secretary of State must receive the money in the form of a certified check by 3 PM tomorrow January the 15th". That's the deadline we missed.

If we can get them to accept payment tomorrow we're in business. WTP puts up the money, Grannies reimburse them. If not....

Yes but who has a spare $60,000 laying around collecting dust.............. I'm sure the grannies would pay that individual back, but ...

ill bet every dime ive ever made that the NH "State" will deny a change of the law to allow payment after the deadline. I sincerely hope im wrong, it would prove theres a little humanity in teh government somewhere.

i vote that granny keeps the money for the next state where theres some 'funny business' (FRAUD) going on.

OK, Gary of Lone Lantern is up on WTPRN and he's going to have Fred Smart on to give details on the whole situation. Go to WTPRN or LoneLantern.org to watch/listen live.

I just listened to the interview with Fred Smart. I'm usually the last one to jump on a conspiracy theory, but good lord, wtf is going on here?? Theres apparently no law that says they had to have the money today by 3, and it seems like the NH secretary of state is trying to block this from happening.

Ok, so, just before the 3PM deadline, someone sent Paypal a message alleging "suspicious activity", and that automatically froze the account. And apparently, there is no legal basis for NH to set a payment deadline. Sounds like there's still a good chance things will work out.

Unbelievable!!! How can people be so cruel?!!!

That was not very nice at all. Clearly, there is a concerted effort to thwart the recount.

Sounds like someone has something to hide.
