The devil is maximally interested in trying to destroy the reputation of the Jews. Christians often forget that Gentile believers are *grafted in* to the covenants (Romans 11). Jewish believers are also grafted *back* in (see Romans 11 again), but the point is that we are the wild olive tree, they are the natural olive tree -- if the root goes, so does the branch grafted into it.

Fortunately, the wicked do not actually understand God's redemption. The Root is not the Jews, it is Jesus himself (Isaiah 11:10). But playing along with the devil's slanders, whether from unbelief or from a false understanding of Scripture, is dangerous in the extreme (Matt. 24:24). Don't believe the propaganda.
