Kucinich calls for independent United Nations inquiry on Gaza

go Dennis. i had it out w/a fellow bashing republicans and libertarians while calling for big government and i accused him of supporting Obama's (non) change theme. he corrected me by saying that he and other Ds were sorely disappointed in Obama and that he was, actually, a supporter of Kucinich.

F the U.N.

You guys realize the U.N.'s level of corruption? Why would they be qualified to investigate anything?

Kucinich has a good heart but he believes in government. He's yet another one of those who believes we just need the "right people" in there and everything will be rosy. Sorry guys, Kucinich is not "one of us" when it comes to liberty.

No, he is one of us when it comes to liberty, he just doesn't realize that government isn't the solution to that problem.

The fact that he is one of the few people who recognizes these injustices and speaks out about them is noble.

I agree with what Kucinich is doing here. It's like he's calling out the U.N. to put their money where their mouth is.

What is the point of an inquiry? (Not demeaning Kucinich's efforts, just wanting to know about what good an inquiry would do)

Are we expecting to find some new revelation that the attacks are actually justified? I doubt it. More than likely, an inquiry would tell us what we (should) already know: We need to stay the f--- out of middle eastern affairs.

Asking for an inquiry into the situation in Gaza is like saying we need to send another space shuttle to orbit the Earth and confirm that it is indeed round.

Kucinich worships the ****ing UN. stop cheering this globalist socialist.

I'll cheer on the only person who talks about human injustices all day. Alllllll daaaaayyy.

Just because we don't agree with the solution doesn't mean we can't agree and recognize the importance of what he is saying. At least he's saying it. If nothing else, the UN is a platform to voice concerns. Since Israel is not an independent, sovereign nation and depend on other nations for their support, it is important that this subject is recognized at as many levels as possible.
