We are incapable of living a sinless life. We are incapable of being God. We are incapable of saving ourselves. We are incapable of earning out salvation. We are incapable of making God love us any more than He already does, but also completely incapable of doing anything to make Him love us any less.
Why are we incapable of living forever? Its theoretically possible to grow your own bodies. Once you do that, its mainly just details on how to figure out how to live forever.

We will never be able to live forever because this world will come to an end with the second coming of Jesus.
And why would you want to live forever in this world? That really would be hell. We will never be free of sin while we are alive on earth. Why would you want to live eternally in sin?
So we won't live forever because Jesus will come down to Earth and kill us all? Thats some savior.
We are capable of making our world however we like it. What can God do that can top that?

Jesus will not kill us. We are dead in sin. He provides us with our salvation.
That makes no sense.
What if we don't need him? What if we build a perfect society ourselves? People won't be happy to see Jesus.
Also, what if we don't want to live by God's rules? What if we want to live by our own set of rules?

He is better than you. And He created you and created the universe.
I know it's tough to acknowledge that there is something greater than you. Maybe it will make it easier knowing that there is someone who loves you no matter what, He loves you unconditionally. He loves you so much that He gave you life. He loves you so much that He sent His only son to die for you, so that you could enjoy eternity with Him. All He asks in return is that you love Him back.
Its theoretically possible we were created by A God. But its completely impossible for a God, or anyone, to create the universe. The universe has no beginning or end, therefore cannot be created.
And no, they are not better than humans. Humans are completely capable of doing anything a God could.

Why are you insisting god would be bound to our universes science and rules. The whole point is he's not. Science is relative to us its all we know and comprehend. Religion comes in to say there's something beyond that which transcends our logic and perception.
I haven't seen any logic behind the idea that God created the universe. The only real law of the universe is zero=infinity. The only way the universe can possibly exist is if zero=infinity. I've had similar debates on this topic many times. Nobody has made a compelling argument that God created the universe. Nobody has made a clear argument on how the universe came into existence.

Why is it that in this country, almost everyone agrees that the "one true" imaginary friend is God/Jesus?
How do we know that Allah isn't the real imaginary friend we should worship? Or Vishnu, or Zeus, or the Great Pumpkin or my personal God/imaginary friend, the Flying Spaghetti Monster or any of the thousands of other imaginary friends that people have created throughout history?
Remeber, folks, only one God boiled for your sins. Long live the Flying Spaghetti Monster!

I assume you are a follower of one of the mainstream Christian faiths. Actually "He" asks for a lot more than that. "He'" asks that you follow a lot of really stupid (and often contradictory) rules.
However, there is one Christian sect that dispenses with much of the nonsense expected by Catholics and Protestants. The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster has far less archaic, silly rules, which is why I choose the FSM as my imaginary friend. Call it Christianity, but with a lot less bull shit.
BTW, the FSM will love you if you drink or hang out with strippers. In fact, he'll love you even more than most. You can't say that if you follow one of the "mainstream" Christian sects.
The FSM gave us his only begotten son, Jesus Christ. Long live the FSM!
