No thanks. God will already give me an infinite life with Him. I prefer Him over you, to be frank.
What proof do you have on that? If somebody gave you a real chance at infinite life, you would pass that over and die hoping God actually exists (which he doesn't) and chooses to give you infinite life? I thought the point of believing in God was to get infinite life. If you can get infinite life without God, whats the point of God?

Infinite life on earth would be hell.
I would think with infinite life that at some point you'd be able to find another world to live in.

But there is God and we do sin against Him.
If God created us, which he didn't, then God is responsible for our sins. Therefore God has sinned.
There's nothing God can do for you that we can't do for ourselves. Why rely on some mythical figure when you don't have to? If you want to go to heaven, create your own heaven. Thats a much better option than dying and hoping you go to heaven.

So claiming God is perfect and we are crap is not arrogant, but claiming we are capable of anything is arrogant? Why is it ok to say God is great, but its not ok to say we are great?

No, claiming Gid is perfect is humbling because we are created in His image which just goes to show how much He loves us. We are not great like God. Claiming we are capable of anything is arrogant, because that places us at the same level as God, which we are not.
You are clearly brainwashed. Religion teaches people this crap so they will never innovate and invent new things because doing so would eventually question their authority and why we need them in the first place.
If you want to achieve great things, you first have to have an ambitious goal, then do everything you can to achieve it.
If you want to achieve nothing, the best way to do that is to assume you are stupid and can't do anything and don't set any goals. Just to let you know, this trick is used by most people in power, many of them for large corporations. They convince their staff that they are crap and upper management are Gods, because if they convince their staff of this, their authority would never be questioned.
You are welcome to believe people are stupid and incompetent, but leave me out of it. I'm not stupid. You are.

Lets say you beat your kid for 18 years, then set him free. Your son then goes on a killing spree. You don't think the father is a little responsible?

Also, hypothetically, God controls all of the factors too. So this isn't completely the same. A father does not have control over the other 6 billion people.
