:/ hope he's ok...
I didnt really mean it. Hence the smiley face at the end.
Baltimore vs the Colts. I can remember when Baltimore WAS the Colts- same team. Oh well. Denver hosting the Ravens next week. My sister already has tickets for the Super Bowl. Hopefully Denver will be there.
Ok. I'll bring this.

I never felt right about the Ravens for that. Baltimore loses their team to Indianapolis and then takes Clevelands?
My picks for next week:
49ers over Packers
Broncos over Ravens (sorry Nirv)
Seahawks over Falcons
Texans over patriots
If I have to watch another patriots Super Bowl I will be pissed. I'm tired of CHEATERS.
My Super Bowl prediction:
49ers over Broncos in a rematch of Super Bowl XXIV![]()
In fairness, Baltimore already had all the infrastructure and funding for a new stadium in place because of their expansion team bid in 1995, when the league inexplicably picked Carolina and Jacksonville as more worthy recipients.
As an owner, it was an easy choice to move a team there, since nothing really had to be done.
But of course, the league continued to smite Baltimore (for whatever reason) by immediately declaring that the "Browns" name and team records must stay in Cleveland....things that they didn't do when the Colts left Baltimore. Raymond Berry performed the coin toss in Indianapolis for the Super Bowl last year despite being a lifelong Baltimore Colt.
True about the name, "Indianapolis" Colts never sounded right to me, having watched Unitas as a kid.
Then they tell me that the Seahawks are an NFC team. It doesn't pay to have a long memory and watch the NFL...
The Houston Texans are the ones that boggle me. Here we have an expansion team replacing the Houston Astros because they became the Tennessee Titans, and presumably named for a World Football League team but sharing a name with the former Dallas Texans, which are now the Kansas City Chiefs. Makes my head spin.

Ha, forgot about that one too. Just posted this in a football forum after learning that the Colts used to be the Miami Seahawks:
Man the AFC's history is screwy.
So the original Seahawks in Miami left to become the Baltimore Colts, ultimately the Indianapolis Colts. Miami would of course get another team later, as would Baltimore.
After Baltimore lost the Colts, they later took the Cleveland Browns and made them the Ravens.
The Houston Oilers moved to Tennessee to become the Titans, only for the league to expand a few years after and bring another team into Houston.
All the while Browns 2.0 popped back up in Cleveland, and no one cares except for when we get to ravage their high picks![]()
No kidding, but .....aren't the Astro's a baseball team?
