[Kickoff 2012] NFL Football is Back: Discuss your games here.

Yeah I've been a 49ers and SF Giants fan since 1994. Red Wings since 1996. Trail Blazers 91. Fresno State Bulldogs have been my favorites since 95 (I only watch their football, basketball though)I know something about sticking with teams no matter what :p

The sad thing is if Jones wasn't in the way Bill Parcells would've got you at least a ring or two. And he would've stuck around at least a few more years. He'll maybe even Bill would still be head coach :p And a few years ago you guys were scary talented.

If Jones left at the end of the season you could get a big name coach and GM and be Super Bowl contenders in 1-2 years.

Parcells is the one who built this core of Romo, Ware, Ratliff, and Witten. Had he stayed even a couple more years, I would imagine we'd have at least one NFC Champ. appearance. He went out on that wild card round loss that would have more than likely ended with a W for the Cowboys had Romo not flubbed that hold.

i'll just put this here.

Seahawks vs Cardinals.

Seahawk team record for scoring today.

Vikings fan here, AP with his (7th?) straight game over 100 yards, creepin up towards 2000 :D.

Ponder also hitting his stride from the last 2 games with less than 100 yards passing.

If AP keeps on doing what he's been doing he'll have the most rushing yards in a single season.

they beat the bears. Thats all i care about...:D

Raven Broncos next week. Should be a good match-up. (just checked scores and see the Ravens lost in OT today). They needed luck to beat the Chargers (4th and 29 yards conversion). Better watch out for the Denver D! Then you gotta face the Giants. I see Atlanta lost too.

The Cardinals are terrible. I knew they were completely overhyped after their 3-0 start.

I see the Bears are finally crashing back down to earth. Diva Cutler and diva Marshall, as expected, will be the downfall of that "team."

I feel sorry for Fitzgerald. Guy's one of the best receivers of his generation, and he's wasting away in Arizona. I'd like to see him win a championship.

Overrated:
Baltimore (Ravens, not Colts oyarde ;)) [9-4]
Tampa Bay [6-7]
Buffalo [5-8]
New York Jets [6-7]
Chicago [8-5]

Underrated:
Tennessee [4-9]
Detroit [4-8]
Seattle [8-5]
Pittsburgh (a lot of commentators don't have them doing so hot this year) [7-6]
New York Giants [8-5]

Meh. Not a bad call with the Seahawks. They are basically impossible to defeat at home, and Russell Wilson will probably be the steal of the draft. \

San Fran's final 3:

15 Sun, Dec 16 @ New England 8:20 PM ET [Ouch]
16 Sun, Dec 23 @ Seattle 4:25 PM ET [at Seattle...ouch]
17 Sun, Dec 30 Arizona 4:25 PM ET [Winnable]

Seattle's final 3:

15 Sun, Dec 16 @ Buffalo 4:05 PM ET [Winnable, but possible trap game with San Fran next week.]
16 Sun, Dec 23 San Francisco 4:25 PM ET [At home...winnable]
17 Sun, Dec 30 St. Louis 4:25 PM ET [At home...winnable]

So there is a chance San Fran goes 10-5-1, while Seattle goes 11-5 and wins the division.

Yeah. Man that dude can build a team. And coach. I'd hire him for either position over anyone except Jim Harbaugh (cuz we already have him :p).

49ers currently 2nd seed and we've given up the least amount of points. And for the record, Atlanta doesn't scare me a bit. They won't be around for the NFC Championship Game.

I predict we will both go 2-1 in the last 3 games.

Come on Ravens. Fuck the fucking steelers.

That was our chance. Dallas managed to pull a win from the Bengals... and San Diego pulled a win over the Steelers... clinching the division basically was handed to us on a silver platter today, and we said MEH, NAH, DO NOT WANT.

With how the Ravens are on the road... DO NOT WANT away playoff games

Hopefully Ray Lewis plays next year. It may be greedy as a fan, but I'd love to see him pull a Seau and just keep playing.

The Ravens have a tough stretch, that was really a game they needed to win. And as long as they don't win games like that (albeit the Redskins are tough), they won't go far into this postseason. Very disappointing as I do NOT want the Steelers anywhere near the postseason, but, thanks to a pathetic AFC this year, they are only contending with Cincy for that wildcard spot, and I can't count on Cincy to make sure the Steelers stay out of the playoffs.

Lions know how to tank! Hopefully we don't win another game.

Who does everyone have in tonight's Texans vs. Patriots game?
