[Kickoff 2012] NFL Football is Back: Discuss your games here.

Welp, the Cowboys came close today. Some "Jerry luck" got sprinkled on the ball and sent it wide left, effectively losing the game.

Good game though, Ravens. I hope they toughened the Cowboys up a little bit.

Was waiting for you to appear. Very nice.

#1 offense N.E...vs..the #1 defense Seattle....Seahawks win.... now 4-2......whew...good game all around.

49er's next for the #1 defense......THIS...will be the game to watch.

Jerry luck...yep. If only the Cowboys could have gotten their heads in the game and their butts back to the line, maybe Tony could've gotten a chance to get a little closer for the FG attempt. *sigh*

Watch them both score over 30 points.

@Cajun: Where would you be if Dez Bryant didn't yell at the refs after every play? After the ball hit him in the shoulder on the 2-point conversion, he should have gotten another shot.

I assume you meant to post "shouldn't" have gotten another shot, right? If that's the case, I totally agree...especially after all of his dropped passes in the Bears' game two weeks ago, too.

Looking back at their past horrible performances earlier this year, I'm surprised the Cowboys did this well.

They ruined it at the last minute of the game.

Agree; I thought they would get blown out against the Ravens. It's a shame that Tony Romo always gets blamed for their losses too...he can't block for himself, and he can't catch his own passes either.

One timeout and around 20 seconds. That was plenty to run another play and get a couple more yards to make it that much easier for Bailey.

More Jason Garrett mismanagement of the clock. I think there is a petition going around to request Garrett be fired, lol.

That is the problem with depending on superstars to win a team game. Jamaal Charles looks like he has the talent to be another Marcus Allen. But Allen had John Alt and his cohorts on the offensive line, and they had some serious teamwork going. Plus, back then the Chiefs didn't act afraid to pass the ball, so they'd spread a defense out. Hopefully they don't let the fact that a couple of receivers were dumb enough to deflect the ball up when they didn't catch it, instead of down, dissuade them from continuing to start Quinn the Eskimo.

As for defense, as a longtime Chiefs fan I used to love to talk about it. This year, I don't particularly want to discuss it at all.

I was absolutely sure the Ravens had lost that game once I saw how much time Dallas technically had...

The night game was supposed to feature melted cheese, but instead we had charred Texan burgers. ...
42-24 Green Bay wins.

Nirvi: Feel any different now with Webb and Lewis out for the year? Tough break.

I'm depressed. I think losing Webb will for sure hurt the Ravens more than Lewis... but I am hoping once Suggs come back, there will be more pressure on the QB's which Baltimore has sucked with.

Meh. We shall see. What a crappy week. We don't exactly have the easiest rest-of-season schedule either, and our defense has been mediocre at best so far... now we're losing two of our best guys (in terms of both physicality and motivation of the team) :(

I am really worried this will be the end of Lewis' career. And that would be a damn shame.
