KentuckyFight.com - Let's get it on! September 23rd!

Great Job Josh. The creativity and talents of the movement never ceases to amaze me. Like some have said, I think I would prefer "Washington Elite" as opposed to DC Insiders ... really a choice of personal preference. But it helped TREMENDOUSLY to have "money bomb" on the banners. I figure we have about 2 seconds to sell a click through on the net. That's all we got. Thanks again.

I don't understand why the Republican Party can't unite for once. Rand is a good candidate.

A lot of us wonder that, friend. No one can be sure of the answer, but my guess is they picked a candidate who will do as they request, whereas Rand Paul will vote on principle and be beholden to no one.

I think perhaps the biggest impact the grassroots can have is for the 5000 money bombers to go DEEP and max out on Rand before May. If Rand buries him in the money department, he'll win and he'll probably have dough left over to kick Dem butt.

If you're poor, you gotta start thinking creative, like selling old textbooks, tightening your belt, etc.

I don't see why ALL the Ron Paul contributors, if they really want to change this country, shouldn't contribute just as much money to Rand as they did to Ron. What? 36 million in a Senate race?! You goddamn right. Wedge. Focus all the resources on one point, and that point is Rand stabbing into the Senate. This is how Napoleon fought, and how we should arrange the liberty movement. Rand is worth it. This guy could be president someday.

We don't just wanna barely win, we want to kick ******* *** and permanently shock and awe and change the country.

The problem is most people don't even know Rand is running for Senate so it's even worse for the moneybombs !

This is true. Money in large amounts will buy ANYTHING however. We know we have 5000 warriors right now. Those 5000 alone, if they were to become HEROIC on an epic scale, and FOCUS on getting $2400 bucks before ALL ELSE, could rock the globe.

We gotta money bomb after money bomb after money bomb after money bomb. BELIEVE ME, I know it's gonna test your financial endurance, but all I can say is, if you're not out ************************************** (self-censorship mechanism).

Been a while since I've posted. Here's an idea: Make a video that's like one of those cheesy fight or monster truck ads. Something like, "Wednesday! Wednesday! Wednesday! Rand Paul and Trey Grayson in the cage on September 23rd Wednesday! Be there."

Just a thought on the kentuckyfight page.
Could the text mentioning Treytor be de-emphasized compared with that mentioning Rand?
Maybe by using different sized text or bolding or something...
for example:

On September 23rd, twenty three Republican US Senators are holding a $500 per plate fundraiser in Washington DC for Trey Grayson - Rand Paul's opponent.
This deck stacking favoritism in a highly contested GOP primary is unacceptable!

Join in the fight and help Rand Paul deliver a knock out punch to establishment candidate Trey Grayson with a pledge to donate $100 on the same date!

etc. etc.

or maybe that would detract from the simple clarity of the page???

any thoughts??

I tried twice yesterday to pledge at kentuckyfight.com and never got a confirmation email. Is it working for anybody else?

I say an effective video would be one that makes it quite clear that it's Beltway Trey vs Grassroots Rand. Show a bunch of guys in suits vs a whole bunch of people with signs. Posh vs. Push!

Or include clips of the 23 senators involved in the fund raiser saying liberal things one after the other.

careful though that's what got them elected in this f-ed up country hahha ;)

Maybe. But the honest, and I think the winning, approach is to highlight the real ideological differences between Rand and and the Republican left, not hide them. Show that Rand is the only choice for those who are against the bailouts, against cap and trade, against judicial activism, and against universal health care. His first challenge, after all, is to win the Republican primary, not the general election. And even for the general election, if we have to hide our beliefs in order to win, then it isn't really winning.
