The fact that the biggest worldwide draw a UFC match has ever had on pay-per-view is less than the daily viewership of Larry King does not engender confidence in its widespread appeal, especially given that that's made up of mainly younger, and relatively less politically active people. Compare that to the literally hundreds of millions of people who have seen a Rocky movie.
If we want something that makes sense to a general audience, then boxing is the way to go.
Ever been to a bar on UFC night?
A Buffalo Wild Wings?
Bad comparison.
No I haven't. Neither have most people.
Make it Mitch McConnellanother idea....
in the center of the ring could be logo on the mat.....an Elephant siloette (Rand's corner)....and a Rhino (Trey's corner).....going head to head...
very powerful symbolism
A few thoughts about this:
A few thoughts about this:
1- Does this give too much attention and name recognition to Trey? Most KY voters don't even know he exists.
2- I think the very top text of the page needs to explain why we are doing this - as a counter assault to the "estabhlishment" backing AshTrey.
3- The amount of money is also unrealistic. We had over 2 months to plan a moneybomb and were only able to garner a few hundred k. We will not be able to do better than that in less than a month's time.
I say we should set the goal for $1 million total. We are close to $780k which would only leave $220k (still tough but a bit more realistic than $500k). If we reach $1 million before the next qtr, we can be the first campaign to announce that we have over $1million thus marginalizing AshTrey's fundraising for the qtr.
LUV the vertical banner though Josh. Graphics are awesome. For my taste, move the heads of the guys up a little, and make room for stacked "Money Bomb Cage Match" or something at the bottom. Beautiful job though man. Best graphic design and creativity I've seen in a a long time.
Hey Josh, it would be cool if you could add the pixel size to the description of the banners on the website.
I'm adding one to randpaulgraphs now but it's a pain to have to guess the pixel size.
View the image at it's root location.
i.e. http://kentuckyfight.com/images/tallbanner.jpg
When on the page, simply right click on the image and select properties.
It will tell you the pixel size.
I'll go ahead and do this anyways.
Thanks for putting up a banner, I will add you to the coalition page.
