KentuckyFight.com - Let's get it on! September 23rd!

another idea....

in the center of the ring could be logo on the mat.....an Elephant siloette (Rand's corner)....and a Rhino (Trey's corner).....going head to head...

very powerful symbolism

Just a question, not a complaint, but why ultimate fighting instead of boxing? Isn't ultimate fighting still kind of limited in its scope of people who know much about it? I mean, how many people will recognize a picture of an octagon as opposed to a regular boxing ring?

make it so it looks like it's the people vs. the politicians... cause that's what it will be on September 23rd

I think we're getting to the point where we need to be careful how many more metaphors we mix in. That said, I do like it!

Excellent point. The old boxing game is full of useful language and symbolism, much of which has come into general usage. Like 'In this corner' and 'The champeen'. The traditions of it would be useful to add the air of excitement.

I think we should send out press releases about Trey's insider big wig fundraiser.

You better get this fully live fast. Google will have this thread spidered in a few hours or so.

This absolutely needs to be spun so that any great monetary gains by Sprayson (for this whole quarter) are attributed to bailout-supporting politician millionaires.

It'll be easy to do; we just have to pressure him into releasing his fund raising numbers from this D.C. elitist event in the spirit of competition.

You know where to go from there.

This will be widely popular on the MMA sites I visit. There's also a correlation between the battle of the upstart UFC vs. Boxing, just like Rand vs. the establishment. Remember it was "the establishment" ie John McCain which tried to ban Ultimate Fighting from the fans...that was never forgotten.

The UFC is a bigger draw than boxing.

That just all sounds like really esoteric stuff. Really, who knows anything about McCain being against ultimate fighting? Who knows anything about there being some kind of rivalry between boxing and ufc? Who actually goes to mma sites? How many of those people are over 30? And how many of them are politically active?

Boxing is universal. Even non-boxing fans at least get it. MMA/UFC is a niche.

This "if it should be ufc or boxing" thing is non-sense. Choose either one, people aren't idiots, they will get the jist of it.

Please set either a realistic, achievable goal or none at all.

How many times do we gotta come up short (November 5th, December 16th, August 20th) and let the media burn us with "fell short" type lines before this lesson is learned?
