I acknowledged the reality of politics, and in our current state politics is a war where lying to the enemy is just as justified as a soldier shooting the enemy.
You can claim to be equally justified in lying, except that you are on the side of evil.

"We're in a spiritual war, I don't feel safe, so even though I'm a Christian, lying and murdering is ok. My intentions are good. Only God can judge me."
