Basically I was at the Midland Theater in west Shawnee,Kansas. There were roughly about 3-4k people attending and we started early. The speaker for Mike Hukabee went into a rant of accomplishments for himself and how Mike lost weight. The second speaker was for McCain and he was really nervous and his point was McCain is the only one that can beat the Democrats. JC had a wonderful speech about his ancestry selling land which now makes up washington DC, signing the declaration and ect. The speech was beautiful in a way that I started hearing people talk to eachother saying they were split between voting who they came for or voting for Paul after JC's speech. My whole row pretty much voted for Paul. The people behind me voted for Paul (the row behind me were all the conversation was going on). Paul had the biggest applause and had the most signage. Allot of the older generation was very happy to see young people come out for the GOP, but kept being told that we would leave if the GOP kept laughing at us, which shocked them and probably changed some of there minds when voting.

The second group just started, so im guessing they will be done by 11:30am and we should start to get results around 12 or 1pm im guessing.

Great Job. Was your consensus is that Ron may have won (from your group) or impossible to tell?

well on my row there were about 20 people, 15 people had no shame in saying they voted for Paul. The people behind us there were about 5 people who voted for paul. There were roughly about 10-20 people that were not in my row of seats or behind me that I saw. Roughly that makes 35-40 that I could tell voted for paul. The only competition I could tell was for Huckabee and he had about half the signage of paul and a few people wearing buttons. McCain got little to no applause and alot of head shakes when his speaker got up to speak.

That good and very significant. I started a thread yesterday entitled "Ron Paul will win Washington", I kept driving home the point that the conservative base find itself again because of McCain and Romney dropping out. especially in Washinton and in Kansas where you have true conservatives. My concern in Kansas was Huck not McCain.

The literature was clearly what alot of people liked. I must hand it to the guys out front handing that stuff out. There were alot of comments in line about how nice and neat the layouts were and how it was printed on nice paper compared to Huckabee's who was printed on normal printing paper and in black and white. You could clearly tell alot of the Romney supporters were undecided on who they were going to vote for. They were confused on if they should vote for Paul based on economics, McCain on the war, and none of them really liked Hucakabee. The people behind me were all Romney supporters and thats why there was dicusion between them.

Another excellent point that I brought up yesterday. Romney people will go to Paul, I truly belive that, the only ones we will lose are the ones trying to vote for they think can win. Not with their consciusness and that number is very low due to the popuation of mormans and more highly educated people that supported Romney

The numbers we get from Kansas and Washington will give us a picture of where the Romney votes are going to go to.

I was there too!

It was awesome. JC did fantastic - lots of people said they were voting for Paul because of him.

I just got back, and people were angry at me for wearing my gigantic Ron Paul shark costume because I knocked someone over when I couldn't see where I was moving.

Is this for real?? I don't know if I should be laughing or crying, but it made me laugh.

Ya, I could see through the shark's mouth, but I didn't have any peripheral vision.

Dang! I wish all the states had this kind of process! All the surrogates I've heard speak for Dr. Paul are superb especially because of our knowledge on the issues and our passion! I even do fairly well myself
