Just got back from the Community Food Bank of NJ where I dropped off 350lbs of food for the Ron Paul Food Drive! Special thanks to everyone who donated to my cause!

Here are some pictures:

I also got some fresh local stuff, which they immediately took and put in cold storage and I didn't take a picture of it. :)

Thank you so much for doing this! We just gave 2 - local churches four big boxes of coats under the same auspices.

Thats awesome.

Now if only the government would stop sucking up money and resources, more people would be in a position to give.

+ rep for you. It's not too late folks. I am dropping off some food this evening. Not nearly as much as our beloved Nirvi did but every little bit helps. I also got a local grocery store to donate 10 $50 store gift cards. Don't be afraid to ask for stuff like that.

Ron Paul supporters collected a total of 12,244lbs of food. There were 35 cities across the US collecting. I came in 11th place (if anyone was curious - Warminster, PA collected over 2k lbs of food).

We did well :)

Food Banks are still collecting (and usually are through Christmas - call your local food bank to check), it's not too late (and never too late) to make a difference in the life of someone else.

More than that was collected. I know a couple (including myself) who were not collecting through the website thing that was set up for it.

Great work! Whoever thought of this deserves a pat on the back, it demonstrates that we put our money where our mouth is when it comes to helping others without using government aggression.

Stop bragging about what a good person you are! You're making the rest of us look bad! :p

In all seriousness that's really amazing work you've done. +rep. You just inspired me to donate another €100 to the food program at the church down the street. Will drop it off tomorrow after mass. Thanks for the inspiration!
