3) hypocritical? only if you come at the situation from a holier than thou POV. Adam had the chance to get his own daily 30 minute show with complete creative and editorial control. Why on earth would this be a bad thing?

4) Adam may not be the sharpest tack in the box, but he's not stupid. If you were listening to his radio show a couple of months before it went off the air, you'd know that he had been thinking about various offers for a new show. In other words, he thought long and hard about taking this opportunity.
