Pride event with drag show continues
Another one just down the road....
The guiding coalition made a plan to create a joint event called Donuts with Grownups, instead of traditional Mothers' and Fathers' Day events.
Riverview Elementary School in Snohomish, WA has canceled Mother’s Day and Father’s Day events to avoid "triggers" for students but is promoting a Pride event featuring a drag show. Parents are triggering, apparently, but Pride is all the rage.
During the most recent meeting of the school’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) on April 11, Principal Derek Larsen announced that there will be no Moms and Maple Bars event which was scheduled for May 11, nor Dads and Doughnuts on June 8, and asked that the events be removed from the PTO calendar and website.
