I just turned in a 15-page paper in my Military Ethics class about terrorism and how to deal with it. I recited the definition of terrorism, then applied it to the United States, and then I told how one could deal with it. I said that Ron Paul could become president, or another Revolution. I also, of course, touched upon foreign terrorism and how to deal with that as well, which included withdrawing from Iraq and withdrawing support from Israel. I also stated that the United States needs to bring all troops home and that it doesn't need to be the world police because that is what causes terrorism in the first place. That's a very vague summary of what was turned in, but it got an A. The founding fathers, John Locke, Ron Paul as well as even terrorist organizations were quoted thoroughly to prove my points.

I can't think of anything the government does that falls outside of that definition. Seriously, even the good things government does come at the cost of tax dollars which are coerced for political purposes using violence and threats.
