I'm so blown away by what I just witnessed on cable tv.

A tv show dedicated to discussing limited government and individual liberty as intended by the founding of America and its constitutional republic.

It was high octane and fired on all cylinders! Judge Nap is a superb host who really knows his material.

I'll be watching this every week, and this is coming from someone who turned off FoxNewsChannel after the 2008 presidential debates where Chris Wallace, Carl Cameron, Sean Hannity et al proceeded to ridicule and marginalize those of us actually interested in turning back the clock on the massive expanse of gov't and our candidates who espoused such.

Tea Party and Ron Paul Revolution, FTW.

It was an outstanding show.

For those who missed it, I believe it is on at 8pm and 11pm est on Sunday?

Hopefully people DVR'd it.

YouTube! For those of us in England and without any way of watching other than the foresight of thoughtful liberty lovers who like to record things :)

Please tell me someone taped it for those of us who can't get FOX Business; my cable provider does not provide it.

Unfortunately, FBN is carried by a serious minority of cable stations, as opposed to FOX NEws. :( The ratio is truly depressing.

Ditto for Stossels show.

Obviously, FOX is looking for a larger business share.

Wait. I thought it was on TONIGHT on fbn at 7 pm central?

Am I wrong???

Also for those who have cable in the U.S., you should call in to your local cable office and tell customer service you request Fox Business Network. I know that it wouldn't seem like one call would be meaningful, but they certainly track it, and I am somewhat certain that they apply a multiplier (meaning they know not everyone will call, but if one calls, that means on average X times a multiplier would like the change).

Fox Business Network really seems like Roger Ailes experimentation into more libertarian-leaning commentary. I've heard freedom-oriented viewpoints from Cavuto, David Asman, obviously John Stossel and Judge Napolitano, but even Liz Claman, Jenna Lee, Cody Willard etc.

To date, I don't think there has been a major news station where I could name maybe more than one freedom-oriented talking-head. Even Stuart Varney and Don Imus have Ron Paul on, and Imus had Penn Jillette the other morning.

To highlight my cognitive dissonance, I am still an advocate of killing your TV and picking up a book, but if you need to see what's up with the news, FBN > NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and FNC for that matter.

My blood is boiling right now... I attempted to set my Tivo to record Freedom Watch a few days ago, but since it wasn't in the guide I told it to record every listed show on FBN this morning. Today, it figured out that the guide had changed and then didn't record anything!!!

I've got it set to pick it up again when it re-airs, and I'm eagerly awaiting the rest of the show on Youtube.

I had the same thing happen to me!

Re-airs tonight at 8 PM ET.

Meh. I don't see anything promising about the Tea Party and figures like Palin and DeMint. I'll watch Ron Paul's bits and skip the rest. I wish Napolitano had guests like Lew Rockwell or the other columnists at his site for the broadcast debut.

So was Fox News when it started:

At launch, only 10 million households were able to watch FNC, with none in the major media markets of New York City and Los Angeles. According to published reports, many media reviewers had to watch the first day's programming at Fox News studios because it was not readily available. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fox_news#Early_years

UPDATE: How much does Fox Business have now? According to its detractor, the lame Paul Krugman, it is in 49 million homes as of August 2009

Palin supports the war, which is an anti-liberty at its core. The tea party has no future if it is just the GOP lite, if that. Let's get some real discussion going. Bring on Molyneux, Marc Stevens, Lew Rockwell, Tom Woods, Doug Casey. I'll wait before I get excited.
