Judge Napolitano's FBN debut of FreedomWatch is a Winfest!

I do not think we need to hide differences.
  • In the early days of this Country, people openly discussed differences...even in the local pubs. But propaganda began to tell us not to discuss politics and religion with anyone who might disagree with you. As a result we are having to learn all over again how to discuss these things in a respectful manner.

  • The opposition likes to take the differences, and twist their meaning. In the show Ron Paul explained not all libertarians agree with each other, and that he was pro-life. He also said, as per the Constitution, it as a State issue, and not a Federal issue. Did you see how the Democrat twisted what Ron said? So by being honest, the deception coming from the opposition is exposed.

I didn't mean we need to hide disagreements, just that when you have those people on for 10 minutes, the time can be better spent.

I watched the entire program. I agree that Palin is an intellectual lightweight. Rendell really looked foolish as well. Armey looked hung over. Like Stossel's show I think he tried to pack too much in and when a windbag (and aren't they all?) goes on too long the time element gets to be a problem. All in all, not a bad first effort and I really like Judge Napolitano. Next week's show might really suck since his big guest is Glenn Beck. Ugh! What a slimer.

Palin proved she's nothing but a partisan hack in this program. All her complaints were about "Obama" doing this and that, the same crap that GWB pulled. It's about the power for her, and she'll say anything that'll get her a vote. Not once did she acknowledge the complicity of the Reps in the FedGov fiasco.

She's as "sincere" about reducing the size of government as the partisan hacks that we put in in 1994, who promised to reduce the size of government and did nothing.

Exactly- that's what turns me off about most politicians. When I hear them speak, all I hear is hate and talking points against the other party. When I hear Ron Paul speak, I actually learn something. He educates the listener while providing solutions to problems instead of just hurling insults at someone.

Well, I for one loved it. Any time I can get someone with our ideas on air time, I am happy. I get so tired of hearing that same garbage over and over. With regards to Palin, I feel like they were pandering to her supporters a little. I fell like Paul and Nap. were restraining themselves in order to gain her/their support.

Bingo! You are right on.

Yeah, I'd watch it but I don't have FBN and I cannot stomach Sarah Palin. I simply cannot listen to her voice.

Pretty good. :)

I feel momentum growing.

I love how the Judge was persistent in finding some common ground between libertarians and democrats at the end there.

Like or or not, Ed Rendell, you have to agree with "the fringe" at some point or another. :D

I'm conflicted. I feel like I'm hurting their ratings if I watch this.

Do what I'm gonna do - watch the youtubes, and when they put it up on hulu or Fox Biz website, play it again in the background (possiby on mute) while you search the web. Actually from now on I probably won't watch the youtubes, but for the premier episode I couldn't wait. If/when I upgrade my Comcast package, I'll just watch on TV

I was just telling my wife the same thing. I kept wanting to turn the volume off when she spoke.

My wife manages a hotel and she's going to call money and request fox biz. They'll say no but every request helps especially when they pay $3K a month

I think this is the best thing to ever happen for the liberty movement. If the ratings are high enough this show could easily win a spot on Fox and slowly "convert" your average big-government republican into a more liberty-minded individual.

With just under 2 years until the presidential primaries, this show is coming in at the perfect time. Ron will definitely benefit from this as it un-do's the "kooky" description Fox has given Ron in the 2008 primaries.

I'm dead serious right now that this show could easily help Ron win the nomination.

The part with Paul and Palin was good. I liked when he got her on the Patriot Act. I think inviting her on with RP to acknowledge him as an equal force in the whole Tea Party thing was a very good move. The rest of the episode was just a bunch of snakes talking in circles and saying a whole lot of nothing.

first they ignore you; then they laugh at you; then they fight you; then you win. fest.

For all the hate here by the RP people about SP, the hate is very similar among the SP people in regards to RP. Like her or not, getting the two on the show together, building bridges is good for all of us.
