If the Oath Keepers are really serious, then they should include enforcement of the Oath of Office penal bond requirement of Article VI. Clause 3.

Being bound by oath is mandated for all public officers, both state and federal, by Article VI, Clause 3, Constitution of the United States.

I have suggested this to the New Mexico and Colorado chapters, but I don't know anyone with enough authority to learn about it, make recommendations and decisions.

Thanks for posting this thread. We sure could use the help. I know many of the OK board members flew to NH for the rally... Stewart flew in from Montana, Dave Freeman flew in from Las Vegas, Chauncey Normandin flew in from Florida...

I disagree. Violation of their oath is grounds for impeachment, regardless of any penal bond (which the Constitution does not mention).

Article VI. Clause 3 states "Bound by Oath" which is a legally binding contract which requires consideration in order to be valid.

It has been clearly shown in court decisions time and again that the penal bond is required in order to validate holding public office.
