He's been pretty upfront about Ron. Showing up to events with his son. His son is a big Ron supporter out of The University of Alabama.

Okay. Technically the correct answer is "criticized the way the Osama Bin Laden raid was handled", but shooting the messenger (Joe Scarboro) isn't helpful. Ron could have answered that question in a way that wouldn't have hurt him politically. An answer like "Well now that he's confirmed dead do we get our liberties back?" Or "Great! Notice that he wasn't in Afghanistan. So what are we still doing there?" Or even "Yeah. And if my letter of marquee / reprisal idea had been followed instead of launching two wars we might have caught him sooner rather than later. We might have even arrested him alive like we did KSM". But no. He made a comment that was a bad soundbite. I love Ron Paul, but sometimes he could craft messages differently.
