This made me chuckle.

The plain meaning of this verse is in the context of Christ speaking to the Pharisees, the hypocritical teachers of the law. He's saying, if you don't believe in me and obey the commands, you will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven (...the goal of every true Christian). This is more plainly said in verse 9, where Christ states, "I am the door. Whoever enters THROUGH ME will be saved."

This verse you are butchering for political leverage is central to the gospel.

Christ's status as a "door" was foreshadowed in the first Passover when the Hebrews were commanded to dip hyssop into lambs blood and smear it on doors of their houses. This saved them from "creeping death" that was to come over Egypt as part of the last plague.

Right before Christ finished His work, while nailed to the cross, he said "I am thirsty."

They dipped hyssop into sour wine (symbolic blood) vinegar and touched it to his lips. The lips of Christ were the posts of the door from which the Word of God emanated.

Repent (change your ways and follow Christ) or Perish (be consumed by creeping death).

The principle applies beyond the particular application, that's why the analogy was used.

Alien Enemies aren't subjects to the laws of the United States because they are not naturalized citizens they have a temporary allegiance to the laws of the United States while they are on the sovereign territory of the United States.

If the president invokes the Alien Enemies act the president can then use their lawful powers to put that person in the governments custody and remove them from the territory of the United States.

Perhaps they could make a law that says every person has the right to not to be deported.

Or a law that says every person in the United States is a naturalized citizen of the United States.

Or a constitutional amendment to the bill of rights that says all men are equal.

This would enshrine open borders into law.

Attempting to do this without changing the law is unconstitutional and undemocratic.

In fact 5 minutes in Joe and his guest points out that they don't know why the media isn't going in deeper on the gay hair dresser ( Andry Hernández Romero) as opposed to Kilmar Abrego Garcia (the "Maryland Man hoax"). Kilmar Abrego Garcia might actually be a gang-banger. Andry Henandez Romero clearly is NOT. Yet Garcia became THE cause celeb and has been brought back to the U.S. and currently Romero has not been. My best guess is if the powers that be brought the obviously innocent man back and gave the possibly guilty one due process and deported him to prison is the evidence supported that, then the controversy over the issue would dissipate and you wouldn't have stupid MAGA types cheering on the end of due process.
