Joe Rogan/Spotify Take Down Attempt

Rogan showing his true colors.

Bahahaha, figures. Money talks...

It is funny though that there's an all-out assault on Rogan from all corners of the media and left. We all know why and they are pulling out all of the stops now in order to get him back into his corner. Yet another crafted and concocted operation by the left that is turning in their favor. Gotta give them credit.

Disappointing that Rogan caved and apologized.

Think of the pressure he's experiencing right now. It's gotta be difficult as hell to navigate this right now. I'll cut him some slack for awhile.

Rogan could be the Benjamin Franklin of the return to liberty if he wanted. The charismatic, and sometimes shocking, elder newsman (at least to the generation that's gonna save us) on a lifelong search for the higher truth through discipline. I see a lot of parallels there. All depends if they find a way to get to him. Right now, I think he's just trying to sound reasonable to the widest audience possible.

It was a huge, huge mistake for him to apologize. I don't doubt he had people telling him to, but those people don't know how to evaluate the board as it stands. He was close to batting 1000 around all of this, but this was such a blunder.

This will get Joe Rogan nothing. The people coming for him will not be satisfied. On the contrary, they'll go even harder because they finally drew blood. An apology to these people isn't some act of contrition, it's a symbol of your submission to them and their ideology. They'll demand more.

His supporters, on the other hand, will be alienated. Not completely, but to some extent. And the normies in the middle without either opinion won't care either way. This will only serve to make him a bigger target, and may well do serious damage.

Exactly.

... I don't think he's... aware enough to know what he means to the cultural zeitgeist at this point. He should. And I hope he gets it. But I think he just thinks he's just some dude talking to people, and doesn't really understand why he's the epicenter of the culture war at this point.

The guy is in his mid-50s that had a long career and built a wealth around it which earned him a net worth is over 100 mil yet you are talking about him as if he is like you, some neophyte. Oh please.

Yep, I'm just gonna be patient and let this run its course.

Rogan never wanted to pick a side but the Left has picked a side for him.

He just needs some time to figure that out.

Unless he goes full-blown Leftist in some misguided attempt to satiate their thirst for wokeness, I'll continue to root for him.

^^This^^ He is steering a ship of precious cargo thru turbulent seas with skeleton crew.

He's a comedian with a long-running and successful podcast. He's not George Soros, dude.

Look, I'm sorry if you feel like the barrier between you and doing stand up successfully for 30 years, then buying a microphone and sitting down and talking to people with a camera on you is sooooo high that there's no possible way you could ever achieve success like he has. The fact is, he really isn't that different, on a personal level, than anyone else. Now we all know that it's your contention that NO ONE ever gains broad notoriety with, I don't know, some sort of seal of approval from the Establishment, but believe it or not, people can and do work hard and achieve based on their own efforts.

If you want to believe that there are no credible sources with a broad based platform, fine. But you're gonna have to come with more receipts than "you think you're like him but he's rich and you're just some dude and that proves it" if you want to convince anyone of this tired routine you play around here. You bring nothing more than innuendo, and it's not interesting.

Keep in mind Rogan became a Bernie Bro.

I think we should all start making preparations to move on from him as being some cornerstone right now. It was good while it lasted. I'm not leaving out a chance of him surprising us, though.

Rule number one is never apologize to the left.

Once again the woke are attempting to cancel @joerogan

First they tried to cancel him over Alex Jones. Then they tried to cancel him for "vaccine misinformation."

Since their first two attempts failed they are now pulling out their biggest weapon: racism.

Let's talk about it.

And now the woke are hammering The Rock for transphobic comments as well as Winslow for....wait for it... using the word "******" in his fiction books.

I love it. LOLOLOL.

Since you asked, and I love your work, I'll tell you.

This is a professional political attack. Three waves one right after the other is not a coincidence. Good spacing, good timing, so it's absolutely professional.

But who was it you ask?

That takes some digging but...
2/
The video compilation of Rogan saying the n-word was dropped by @patriottakes 6 days ago. You see the video in the tweet in pic 1, and patriottakes takes credit for "republishing" the information in pic 2.

That they take credit is important and you'll see why shortly...

3/
As you can see in their bio, @patriottakes is partnered with @MeidasTouch.

And this is where it gets interesting.

Who is Meidastouch?

Well, they are a professional political organization. In fact, they are a Democrat "Super PAC" (more on that in a moment) run by 3 brothers

4/
Ben, Brett, and Jordan Meisales.

All of them have worked in media and have expertise in understanding and manipulating Media.

The most important thing for us is that Brett was a social media manager for Ellen Degeneres, and is an expert editor. Which matter because...

6/
@MeidasTouch, and I'd say it's a safe bet that given their expertise in social media management that the n-word video was created by Meidastouch.

BUT WE ARE NOT DONE.

MeidasTouch is a Super PAC.

Well, what's a super PAC you ask?

Well....

7/
A Super PAC is political advocacy group with a special twist: "super PACs may raise unlimited sums of money from corporations, unions, associations and individuals, then spend unlimited sums to overtly advocate for or against political candidates." (opensecrets.org)

El1ZZ9b.jpg

8/
This means that a Super PAC can take in unlimited amounts of money, and then spend however they want politically.

Meidastouch is a SuperPAC. They can take in as much cash as theg want. 4.7 million for the 2020 cycle and 1.5 Million for the 2022 cycle to be exact.

Now....

9w8vNT2.jpg
5OLswCT.jpg

9/
To recap: Meidastouch, a SuperPAC which can collect as much cash as it wants from pretty well anywhere, and is a professional strategy and media firm run by people with deep ties in entertainment, likely had a hand in the n-word video @patriottakes used to attack Joe Rogan...

10/
So the question is....why?

Why are they doing this, and what do they have to gain?

I think a clue can be found in the letter @patriottakes wrote about all of this.

Look at that highlighted part. What does that tell you??? What does that look like to you????

Patriottakes is bragging about their millions of views and how they made the video the center of the national conversation.

They are bragging about their CLOUT

Rogan is the one guy the leftists can't cancel. If a group could cancel Rogan it would be a MASSIVE show of power

12/
Woke people and legacy media groups have been trying to cancel Rogan for ages because he steals their audience and doesn't play by their rules.

Rogan also offers his enormous platform to people like Jordan Peterson that woke progressives in media circles really don't like...

13/
The group that takes out Rogan would gain a lot of clout and a **lot** of power.

The group that can say "we cancelled Rogan. If we can get him, we can get you too," would be able to swing a very large stick.

And that's what this is ultimately about, it's a play for power.

14/
In short, Meidastouch is a political SuperPAC that is very likely behind the @patriottakes account. They're attempting a viral hit on Joe Rogan so they can take him out both because they don't like him and because they want monetizeable clout for having done so...

15/
So @andrewschulz that's whose behind this.

The question is, what can we do about it?

If every person who Joe helped out said "we are with him and we will tell our audiences to cancel spotify if they cancel Joe" this would be over in a day.

The next thing...

16/
If everyone won't stand up, we need brave leople to lead organic pushback.

@BretWeinstein has been doing this with his "thanks Joe Rogan" hashtag

Finally...
17/
It needs to be made clear to Spotify that if they cave they will pay a significant cost.

We have to make that clear.

They need to pay a cost for this.

If we can do those things I think we can protect a guy who has done so much for so many.

/fin

PS/
Just in case anyone still thinks the attack on Rogan was organic, we have pre-made scripts out there about cancelling Rogan, and they're the same word for word. That ain't organic

Color me shocked.

Joe Rogan Apologizes After N-Word Compilation Goes Viral: ‘I Clearly Have Fucked Up’

https://www.breitbart.com/entertain...compilation-goes-viral-i-clearly-have-fed-up/

ALANA MASTRANGELO 6 Feb 2022

Famed podcaster Joe Rogan has apologized for using the N-word during past podcast episodes after a compilation of him using the word surfaced on the Internet amid calls to cancel him from Spotify.

Rogan explained that while he never used the word directed at anybody, “whenever you’re in a situation where you have to say, ‘I’m not racist,’ you fucked up. And I clearly have fucked up.”

The comedian and UFC commentator has been under attack for hosting two guests — Dr. Peter McCullough and Dr. Robert Malone — on his podcast, who “have an opinion that’s different from the mainstream narrative” regarding coronavirus-related issues,” he said.

In an attempt to quell the concerns of those calling for his cancellation, Rogan suggested that he host experts with the same opinions as the mainstream narrative right after hosting the “controversial” guests — and add a “content advisory” to his episodes.

But the cancel campaign doesn’t seem interested in Rogan’s suggestion of hosting a variety of guests with different viewpoints, as it is still baying for his blood.

Musicians David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, Nils Lofgren, and India Arie have come out against Spotify — following in the path of Neil Young — who has launched what has become a media-fueled effort to censor and deplatform Rogan.

While the woke mob works on canceling Rogan under the guise of public health concerns, others are now trying to cancel him for his previous usage of a racial slur publicly on his podcast over the years.

A video compilation of Rogan using the N-word (sans context) was shared by Arie, who said that while she “emphasize with the people who are leaving [Spotify] for the COVID disinformation reasons,” the N-word video is “why I decided to ask my music be pulled off of Spotify.”

Rogan took to social media on Friday to address the N-word video, explaining, “There’s a video that’s out, it’s a compilation of me saying the N-word.”

“It’s a video that’s made of clips taken out of context of me of 12 years of conversations on my podcast, and it’s all smushed together, and it looks fucking horrible, even to me,” he said.

“I know that to most people, there’s no context where a white person is ever allowed to say that word, never mind publicly, on a podcast, and I agree with that now,” Rogan added.

“I haven’t said it in years,” he said. “But for a long time, when I would bring that word up — like if it were to come up in a conversation — instead of saying ‘the N-word,’ I would just say the word. I thought as long as it was in context, people would understand what I was doing.”

“It’s not my word to use. I’m well aware of that now, but for years I used it in that manner,” Rogan said. “I never used it to be racist, because I’m not racist.”

“But whenever you’re in a situation where you have to say, ‘I’m not racist,’ you fucked up. And I clearly have fucked up,” Rogan lamented.

Oh please, shut the fuck up already...now this is just painful and cringeworthy.

And don't fucking tell what I can say and what words I can us, like I'm a five year old child, especially when there is a daily flood of nigggers calling other nigggers, nigggers for doing dumb niggger shit.

He does not even need Spotify. None of these guys do. With their wealth and following they could build their own platform and advertise it if they truly believed what they are selling and are not actors - entertainers in it solely for the money. I do not knock anyone for being it in for the money but do knock people that cannot see that for what it is.

They may need Spotify to grow their own wealth and status. That should not be anyone's concern other than their own.

If you care about his content and think he is genuine then no one should be getting upset because 100+ -millionaire is in a content dispute with a multi-billion dollar company. If you believe he is genuine, the content is genuine and believe he has integrity then this is a non-issue. Since Spotify is meaningless then and he will appear on his own platform.

If he proves otherwise then maybe it is time to find someone just as entertaining that is not looking to satisfy elite masters to grow his own wealth.
