What concerns me is that the people who are against him (or any other conversation that is not controlled by corporate/government interests) is that these people are NOT reasonable. I get the sense that Joe is just a nice guy who wants to talk to people with interesting and unique views. I don't think he actually gets just how in the middle of the culture war her really is. Tim Pool and Michael Malice I believe have actually spoken to this aspect of his character. To an extent, I admire him... but at some point, you have to realize what's going on around you, and then pick a side. He doesn't seem aware that, by "apologizing", he's picked a side. He has nothing to apologize for, and in fact he should give a big middle finger to anyone who thinks he should.
