Joe Rogan Schools Canadian Socialist

Not sure if this has been posted before, but I just found this great video of Bill maher and Joe rogan back in 2000 arguing against a socialist candidate and calling his ideology a "fantasy"

My, how things change. Starts at the 3:30 mark

That was really great. For those of you who haven't given it a look yet, it really is a must-watch.

All Joe needs to ask is, "Would you use force against me if I decided to not partake in your system?" Show these Canadian idiots the gun in the room and see how they react.

I don't think that other guy was really concerned about the poor.

With the solutions he was presenting, it almost seemed like he was simply envious of those with more 'stuff' than him, hence the creation of a caste system that really does nothing to serve the needy and only exists to limit the material gains of the rich.

Yep. A guise for jealously perhaps. And forced equality.

The anti-money argument is interesting.

If you frame the question as "should the government take their money when they die", they will respond one way.

But if you framed it as "should the government take his herd of cattle when he dies" or "should the government take his home when he dies (because it is too luxurous)" etc. etc. I'd imagine you'd get a totally different answer.

The question is not, should the government get my dollar bills, the question is should the government get my property. Then the socialism is quite apparent.

Good angle there. That would expose the gun in their hand.

But the anti-money folks are = to anti gun, anti drug folks too. Its a tool and can not be blamed for a persons behavior.
