Joe Biden chooses California Sen. Kamala Harris to be his running mate

Trump just won the election. I did not think it would be so soon.

I wonder why are the Democrats surrendering to Trump?

You might be onto something.

Not only Joe supported historic Iraqi Freedom war blunder in 2003, he has added to his baggage by picking a neocon swamp's puppet politician.

A black woman... pretty much sums up her qualifications.

Not just that, she will also make history as the first South-Asian-American VP candidate in history.

Powerful diversity play by Biden... but would he in the end out-diversity Trump and win 2020? Anything possible in politics but early signs do not appear promising.

Indian-American groups laud historic selection of Kamala Harris as Biden’s vice presidential candidate

Leading Indian-American groups across the US have lauded the selection of Indian-origin Senator Kamala Harris as the Vice Presidential candidate by Democratic party presidential nominee Joe Biden, saying it was a moment of pride and celebration for the entire community in America.
Biden on Tuesday named Harris as his Vice-Presidential running mate, making history by selecting the first black woman to compete on a major party’s presidential ticket.
Harris, 55, whose father is an African from Jamaica and mother an Indian, is currently the US Senator from California.
“What an electric moment for the Indian-American community! Indian-Americans are now truly a mainstream community in the national fabric,” M R Rangaswami, an eminent Indian-American and the founder of Indiaspora, told PTI.

“On a personal note, it’s great to have a woman on the ticket whose mother hails from my hometown of Chennai in India,” Rangaswami said.

Harris herself was a presidential aspirant until last year before she dropped out of the race because of lack of popular support.
Welcoming the decision, IMPACT, the leading Indian-American advocacy group and PAC, said that it will raise USD 10 million for the campaign.

I can understand support of Trump and his polices, but dynasty support, really? Out of all the people in this county we can't do better than people within the same family?
I'm open to any better options, I have my eye on Jim Jordan.

But Trump is and will remain extremely popular and if Don Jr. keeps us from having a communist win in 2024 I'm ready willing and able to support him.
John Quincy Adams was a good President, maybe better than his father.

Because we can't support Rand Paul 2024 on the Ron Paul/Rand Paul forums.

Who said I wouldn't support him?
I'm just making a prediction.
Don Jr. will ride on his father's popularity and easily win the nomination and the presidency.

SOMEWHERE OUT THERE PIGs ARE STILL FLYING....

CORRECTION: BARRON TRUMP ...not Don Jr. ...of his kids...
i'd place my bets on Barron going the distance. eventually.

Oh for God's sake. I'm so glad the LP isn't at all a clownshow cesspit.

Fuck this woman, I've had more than enough of her already, whether she runs this account or not.

I'm tempted to say that the LP is fiddling while Rome burns - but even Nero didn't have his head this far up his ass ...

This is the same party that was headed by a guy who wanted Dick Cheney or Stalin as President as long as they were running as a Libertarian. What a joke.

It's not a joke at all. Sarwark wants the LP to be a "serious" political party. And "serious" political parties only exist in order to get their members into positions of power. Whether those members actually believe in or embody the ostensible "principles" (if any) of their party is entirely irrelevant (cf. Democrats, Republicans).

(This is why I bailed out on the LP a long time ago ...)

If he was going to pick a black woman to pander, he should have picked one that blacks and women actually will like. This ticket is going to have even lower enthusiasm than Clinton/Kaine. Trump might even win?

People are already saying that Trump has already won the election because of this move.

The only reason Trump has a chance at re-election is because he's running against the only candidate on the planet worse than Hillary. That said, your wishful thinking of Don Jr. over Rand is noted.

There was a picture floating around to that effect that gave me a good chuckle. I can't find it now otherwise I would have posted it.
Found it for you.
