Jesse Ventura for VP

Why don't people do anything bold, anymore? Imagine how HUGE it would be if Ventura announced that he was running third party, and after a few debates, in which he gained some support, he announced that he wants his supporters to support Ron Paul, then he bows, and walks off the stage. Life is just so boring without cool stuff like that happening.

Well, like I said if someone can find him and try to talk him into endorsing Ron he might, he seems to be the same type of person as Ron. But, I don't know if he *knows* of Ron's run for president or not...

Does anybody know how to contact Ventura?

Like I said earlier in this thread, he has a giant ego. He would probably give Ron Paul his endorsement, but somebody's got to ask him for it. A lot of emails might do it, or we might find out that he's just waiting for a personal call from Ron Paul himself.

I dunno to be honest any more. One of my friends was a Seal in Vietnam with him, he didn't talk to him. I'm pretty sure since he went to Mexico he wouldn't any longer. I could try and get in touch with the guy. Any one else here got an idea of how to get in to contact with him? I'm not sure if he has e-mail or not...

From wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_Ventura:

"In January of 2008, the Associated Press reported that a new book authored by Ventura, titled Don't Start the Revolution Without Me is scheduled for release in April. In it, according to the report, Ventura suggests that he is a potential presidential candidate for 2008.[30] Governor Ventura has also mentioned as a possible Independence Party candidate in the race for Norm Coleman's senate seat."

That's news to me!

I'd heard he was out of politics... I'm in MN and haven't heard his name floated around at all.

Him running against Ron Paul in another party would hurt us. I am wondering now if he would even run as a VP candidate.

What do you think? If someone asked him if he'd consider a run as Ron Paul's running mate would he be insulted? If Dr. Paul continues to be shut out of the Repubs, would he still try to run as 3rd party? IF so, who is top on the ticket? Would Ventura offer Paul the VP? Would that be good enough for you? Or would Ventura realize Dr. Paul has the experience and offer to be the muscle behind the message? Are our freedoms in jeopardy or not? Would this help people wake up? Could we take it as a 3rd party? I know its bad to bring up, but what if the vote fraud machines were removed before the general election and they had to really count the votes, could we get 33% of the popular vote turnout in 10 months? I think we could. It would be a long hard battle though, are you up for it? DO we have the leadership necessary? I HOPE WE DO

obviously I believe with Dr. Paul's experience he should be the top guy. This would make them think twice about trying to bump him off if we somehow got that far

Someone needs to get in touch with him about Ron Paul. I doubt HQ would be able to track him down. So maybe just maybe some one on the forums know of a way to contact him?

You can try and get a request from HQ. I'm not sure of how to even get this information to them, anyone else have an idea? :S

Y'know, I thought at first that wasn't such a great idea....he would scare the hell out of the general population! But I love his style and would embrace him as VP in an instant! Also looking forward to the day he interviews with Hannity and O'Reilly!!!!

A cartoon were you in Minnesota while he was Governor, did you live in the suburb he was on the city council of? I'm a life long resident of Minnesota, I voted for him has Governor, I was unable to vote for him on the city council bid. But, I think Minnesota was a rather good state under his rule.
