Or, there's actual resistance, bullets start to fly in isolated incidents, the police state ramps up, more tyranny begets more deaths, both sides become galvanized, martial law is implemented and we descend into a protracted civil war, much like what the U.S. foments in other nations.

I see the first scenario as the most likely. Second one is remote at best. Either way, a bleak future indeed. A financial collapse, currency crisis, government crisis or some other major external force could upset the apple cart, and all bets are off.

Though I am getting tired of listening to his show, the last 2-3 weeks virtually the entire show, everyday, is dedicated to dipping Trump into gold and parading him around. Irks me, he rarely used to give Ron Paul attention when running and near completely has ignored Rand Paul.

Flores’ monthlong adventure into the world of self-described patriots had come to a discomfiting end on Feb. 11.

The agents came because of federal grand-jury papers: Flores was one of seven men most recently indicted in the armed takeover of a national wildlife refuge in Oregon that had made headlines around the world with its images of cowboys and guns.

Of the 25 people indicted in all, each faces up to six years in prison on charges of conspiracy to impede federal employees from performing their duties. Of the bunch, Flores, at 22, is the youngest.
