Maybe those people complaining about the Mises Caucus were onto something. I don't mean people like Lew, Tom, Ron, but Angela McArdle, that podcast comedian and this guy all seem suspicious as fuck. Thiel is in no way shape or form a libertarian.

Palantir....libertarian? I can't believe people are still pushing this "Peter Thiel is a libertarian" garbage. Perhaps libertarian in a "fuck you, I'll do whatever I want so suck it" kind of way but certainly not a political ideology type libertarian. Political ideology libertarian means "do as you want but don't harm others". Thiel brazenly steals, buys politicians, funds lawsuits to bankrupt people who are critical of him or expose his dealings, etc.

It's interesting, because Thiel is a guy who donated $2.5 million to a Ron Paul Super PAC.

So, one would think that he, to some extent, believes in the NAP, freedom, individual liberties, peace and prosperity.

However, the libertarian philosophy is at odds with the status quo which can't exist without the use of force and coercion.

So, IMO, Thiel had to make a decision.

Continue to support principles of liberty at the possible expense of being bankrupted by Globalists and Elites.

Or sell your soul to ensure your wealth.

Which is what I find so curious about Musk.

The guy has definitely embraced principles of liberty via his actions: Twitter, his refusal to shut down Starlink over Russia, Tweets calling all gun laws unconstitutional...

Unlike Thiel, Musk thinks he can protect his wealth while simultaneously pushing a libertarian philosophy.

I couldn't agree more. Angela, and that dude Dave Smith [if that's who you are referring] smell of something awful. I don't like mixed messages, "justifications" or supporting folks because that's the only "choice" between the pre-selected. Folks like that, Tucker Carlson included [who I can't stand], are nothing but Pied Pipers leading the non-principled down the path to destruction.

I'm of the belief Thiel projected a libertarian image and funded some of Ron Paul's campaign so he could use the pre-existing momentum from it for MAGA/the technocratic right. He never seemed like a libertarian.

2.5mil to Thiel is like the change in your couch cushions. Anything resembling an uncontrolled movement must be co-opted by the money powers and Thiel got his foot in the door with Paul Inc, and Paul Inc (Benton, et al....he was recently sent to prison btw) taking most of that money and purposely trying to lose.
