2008 Constitution party Candidate Jaynee Germond annouced recently that she would seek election again to the US House of Representatives from the 4th District of Oregon against Incumbent Democrat Peter Defazio.

Last November Ms. Germond scored 43,133 votes or just under 13% in a race with no Republican challenger. Ms Germonds; new websight http://www.germond2010.com has a link to a fundraiser. Her goal for this quarter is 3,000 dollars.

The above I recieved in an email today from retakecongress.com; just thought Id pass it along.

Just gave her a few hundred thanks for letting us know she was running. I believe Ron Paul endorsed her last year...am I right?

Is she going to pursue the Republican, Libertarian, and Constitution Party nomination?

I ask because Oregon just passed a fusion bill that was signed into law allowing this.

I think a candidate who has the constitution, libertarian, and republican nominations would be very formidable in the 2010 elections, considering everything going on.

District rating is +2 for democrats (only slightly more democrat than the average district). Also, it's 92% white. However, there are a lot of elite white collectivist/liberals/socialists/enviro-marxists so the democratic congressional guy Defazio usually wins by a ton.

jaynee was endorsed by Ron in 2008; as for the fusion idea; I will send her an email about it.

Peter DeFazio has been in office since 1987.....its time for him to go bye bye.

can someone add another $30 to make it an even $1,000?

We ended up with $1045. Keep talking about the campaign; keep talking about freedom. Liberty is contagious! Together we can take back our country!

If there's no Republican in the race she's squandering a huge opportunity by remaining a third party candidate.

actually shes filed as republican[constitutionalist] according to the Green Papers websight...meaning current party[former party/additional party]

She is running as a republican. Right now there is another republican running against her. His name is Sid Leiken, he has been mayor of Springfield OR and I guess is moving up the political ladder.

His issues page makes me wonder if he thinks he is running for Oregon State House. http://www.sidleiken.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5&Itemid=3 From things I have heard he's a typical politician. Exactly what we don't need in office.

The liberty message is going strong and my primary opponent is doing great damage to himself. I am feeling encouraged.
