Japan Has Decided to Shoot Down North Korean Missile

I for one will be sitting back with a bag of popcorn to watch the fireworks.

Asia could use a good war right about now... lol.

This morning's news... 2 US Guided Missile Frigates/Destroyers sent into the sea of Japan... "Just as Observers"

Hmm, I wonder how much more the Imperial Japanese Puppets and their Empire American Masters can do to provoke a war with North Korea?

Well, look's like another American Scam to increase money to the MIC of America for new Offense, uh, I mean, Defensive gear for Japan/South Korea. Hmm, creates another Crisis to take the focus off the American Banksters and the Mafioso FEDS.

NK is a Chinese vassal.

They got their nuclear/rocket tech. from China. China wants to create worries for Japan/SK.

Hmm...the key word being Asia...

At what point would the US get involved? With the US being a huge part of South Korea's military and just about all of Japan's navy...it would not be a war of just Asians.

If someone blew up your car because it had an outside chance of that you might crash it into something would you consider that a friendly act?

That's a poor analogy though, because it ignores the fact that the missile is going OVER Japan. If someone shot a missile over your property and you thought it could hit your house, you'd be justified in shooting it down, because nobody should be shooting missiles over (read: through) your property in the first place. The North Korean government chose to shoot a missile over Japanese property-owners' land, violating their property rights and endangering them. That was the act of aggression here, and the Japanese government was entirely justified in shooting it down...which was a defensive act.

What would the reaction be if somebody tried to shoot down a US satellite launching missle?

Maybe I'm just getting old.
Does no one remember the Cold War? Do you believe that Manned launches had anything to do with Space exploration?
We had the ability to put a man in space much more efficiently, but scraped the program.
We used the ICBMs to showcase the fact that we could launch the payload with them.
This is what Korea is doing.
They could launch a satellite from a safe location if that was their purpose.
This is a test.
This is only a test.

Well he's kinda criminally insane Kim Jong il...so I'd be feeling edgy if i were Japanese. They've felt the heat of a thousand suns twice before. So I'd be saying no to any kind of mad dog North Korean debris flying my way too. This one has evidently been unchallenged paving the way for the next one!

If that's true then it explains why the missile wasn't shot down. If it had, China would have started dumping dollars first thing Monday morning. Obama knows we can't afford that so they let NK have its fun for the day.

It can also be that the rockets trajectory made it unlikely to be shot down. As in it was a more vertical launch and the point of intersect would have to high to make a probable shot and it would be more dangerous to shoot it down and have debris fall on cities below.

i told you we would do nothing and japan would do nothing. north korea and china are laughing today.

cmon man China and US are not high school kids :D

There will be (naval) re militarization of Japan ...China might get into trouble with it's own game...
