I can proudly say that Jim Traficant represented my district. I hope that he runs again, as the people here will likely support him. In fact, I live 2 blocks from his house here in Poland, OH and pass his house every day walking my dog. I've been anxiously awaiting his return. His successor, Tim Ryan, is such a scumbag that it's unbelievable!
When I met Mr. Traficant back around 2001, he was so sharp and quick-witted that I was taken aback; think Andrew Jackson. This guy is a fighter and does not let ANYBODY push him over. I may not be a Democrat, but I would feel great about having this "ex-con" represent my district again. Anybody that the IRS and Israel Lobby went after must be a good guy. McCain could learn a thing or two about being a Maverick from him.
