RON PAUL IS BECOMING SOMETHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN PRESIDENT

Ron Paul conceding he won’t be president and Rand Paul supporting the presumptive GOP nominee are but trivial anecdotes to the obvious and ongoing success of the most transformative political movement of our time: The rEVOLution.

I’m more excited right now about our political future than at any other time in my life. Still, some people aren’t connecting all the dots. Please watch, contemplate and share. This movement moves forward. To Tampa and beyond:

I couldn't agree more. We have very wise, astute people in this movement. Both Jack Hunter and Rand Paul know how the game is played.

I with Jack were right, but I really don't see why a Romney presidency is not going to be any different than a Bush presidency. Bush's positions in 2000 were far more in line with the liberty movement than Romney's, and when he became president he suddenly got a free pass from conservatives simply on his account of being a Republican. The same thing will happen with Romney, though he will pursue an even bigger government than Bush.

The media and Republicans ignored Ron Paul even when he was winning primaries. What makes Hunter think they are going to listen to him when Romney is president?

Great video. It will go right over the head of some individuals and they will still whine. The true patriots will press on, as we have always known that this wasn't going to be a one election rEVOLution.

Even if Ron Paul won, the neocon/democrat Congress would just have ignored him.

A pox on them all. We have all been betrayed yet again. I will never vote or participate in regime politics again. All that's left is the wish for the collapse and disintegration of the beast Amerika.

On second thought, I might do what I can to assure the defeat of Rand Paul in the future.

Disgusted and mad as hell.

I haven't watched the whole thing yet but I'm already a little confused by the analogy between our movement and the Christian Coalition of the late 1980s. Let's look at a couple of things to see just how much influence the CC has REALLY had in the GOP in 20+ years.

Everyone knows that the one issue most conservative Christians care about is abortion. If a candidate is pro-choice, they won't even consider him/her no matter what else he/she supports. How are things working out for the CC on that issue? Abortion has been legal since 1973. They are no closer to what they want now than they were in 1988 when Pat Robertson ran for POTUS.

More recently, they supported Rick Santorum in 2012. How did that work out?

If these two examples are a glimpse into the future for the liberty movement, count me out. We can do better than groveling for crumbs from the GOP table.

How about you listen to the whole thing.

We have only lost if people quit. Then, we most assuredly will lose.

Nothing has changed. We still have a country to take back.

One day I hope someone who worked within the campaign (looking at you Wead) writes a tell all book about exactly what was happening this spring.

I thought, and preached here, that the writing was on the wall months ago. You can tell now the difference between those who bought into logic and those who bought into dreams.

Those who bought into the dreams are watching the world around them come apart without realizing how much we've already accomplished and will continue to accomplish so long as we fight the GOP on the front lines of the GOP.

Those who bought into logic were largely unaffected last night by Rand's announcement (in large part because anyone paying attention heard Rand say OVER AND OVER that he would support the eventual nominee) and understand that this fight has only just begun.

Get active in your local GOP, seek out and find the liberty people there (and if there are none, find them in your community and bring them in with you) and come up with a plan of action for this coming decade on a LOCAL level.

I wouldn't campaign or help Romney for a second, but if we continue to lay the groundwork for ourselves while playing nice with the fading NeoCons we will eventually take back this party.

If Romney loses and Rand puts himself in the driver seat for 2016 that could be a big year for all of us, anyone running as a Ron Paul/Liberty Republican in 2016 might actually have the establishment helping defacto just because Rand could be the guy at that point. If the GOP starts running with the Liberty message in 4 years we will all benefit which is why it's important we keep laying the groundwork now.

Come up with a local plan of action now and wait for Ron's direction for the future...

Thank you Jack Hunter for putting things into perspective. Its nice to have some rationality and realism around here.

You keep talking about "quitting"...you've said that to me before.

I'm not going to be doing anything differently tomorrow from what I did yesterday. I'M NOT QUITTING!

Give me someone with principles I can believe in, and show me that person will stand by those principles through thick and thin...I will vote for that person. I don't care what political party they belong to, or whether they belong to a political party at all.

But if you tell me that person must sign on with the devil to advance the agenda, count me out. That's not advancing anything.

Jack Hunter has a gift for putting everything into perspective (I shudder to think what Adam the Man will do with this)

Jack Hunter said (more or less) It's alright to compromise politically to advance PRINCIPLE, it's never okay to compromise principle to gain politically. That's what Rand is doing -- compromising politically to gain in PRINCIPLE! Smart! Rewarding! and great things are to come! Get with the program -- the REVOLUTION continues!

I guess people still don't get it.

The problem is the two party criminal system. A delusional video doesn't change the fact that has long as that system exists, nothing will change. The system is purposely set up that way by design to make each side believe their vote matters. In the end, it doesn't. To bring about real liberty change, people have to wake up out of their trances and a viable third party has to pose a threat to such system. Then and only then will real change occur.

The only people quitting are those that believe we can hijack the Republican party with our 10%. Let the establishment co-opting begin.
