I'm going to break down how ivermectin, which you can buy over the counter at any feed store or Co-Op, just might allow you to give a loved one a fighting chance if faced with a severe case.
Chances are anyone who has / has had cattle or dogs will have ivermectin in their house right now or at least know what it is. For those that don't it mainly started out as an uber dewormer for cows. In the mid 80s a few people who bred/trained/sold/competed pointers in field trials started using it to help protect high dollar bird dogs. I know this because my father was one of them. Vets assured him it'd kill any dog that was given it. Well, not only does it kill worms.....we found out a shot under the skin at the sight of red mange cured that mange. Then it turned out it also kept fleas and ticks off them. Basically....if you own a dog, go buy a vial of ivermectin. It's a wonder drug. (1/10th of a CC per 10lbs once a month, orally. I always wait until they're at lest 4 months old before I like to start them....preferably 6 months)
Well.....it's looking like it is earning it's reputation as a wonder drug. They've been looking at it as both a possible treatment to take proactively (if you know you're going to be in close proximity of someone infected) as well as a treatment to expedite healing once positive. My wife is an MD and had been telling me about some studies going on in Europe concerning ivermec and COVID she was following, and that while only in vitro, they were seeing as much as a 5000% decrease to the viral loads in those test tubes. It had caught her eye since she knew the drug from me.
We found out last Tuesday that both my wife's father and his wife had been positive for almost a week. She had been sick a couple days earlier then him but was already being transferred to the ICU and moved to a ventilator. Renee asked me to trust her, and then proceeded to give us both 1ml per 100lbs orally of that ivermectin since we were going to check on her father (who was starting his crash as well). She sent me out to get another 80ml bottle of ivermec to take to him (like $25 for an 80ml bottle). As soon as we got there it was obvious due to his O2 stats from the little gauge she brought he had to go to the hospital as well. She gave him a dose of ivermectin in the truck, as well as loaded him another syringe for the following morning as they don't allow visitors on the COVID floor
We buried her step mother this weekend. COVID loves to get your body to produce blood clots everywhere which is why you hear about all these people having issue with organ failure, heart attacks, and strokes. She had a blood clot travel to her brain causing a massive stroke that left her brain dead but at least the good Lord made sure she was in a chemical coma before that happened as well as getting to see her husband.....so she went without knowing it. A 1st cousin of her's gave some to her father in law because his deteriorating health was really starting to worry them. Three days later he had my wife's cousin get him my phone number, where he called me and told me to "bring a shit load ammo....something manly. Let's do some shooting!"
Oh....Renee and I spent almost the entire past 9 days either in enclosed vehicles, houses, and even outside well within 6 feet.....staying around actively sick and shedding COVID19 patient (being quite literal......it looks like that entire branch of the family has spent the past 3 weeks getting infected). We were tested yesterday for both infection as well as antibodies to be safe. We are both negative.
Now.....I can't guarantee it was the ivermectin. But we took it daily and neither got sick. We were both worried that when her dad was admitted that his chances of leaving that hospital alive were "wing and a prayer hopeful" at best. But he did a 180 health wife over the next 36 hours, and I'm the first to point out that they were able to give him medications to help via IV there which is so much more effective. But I also know that he got two doses of that ivermectin in that window as well. I can't guarantee that it's a sure fire protection around exposure or that it'll do for your family's health what I'm positive it did for mine. And my wife said she can't recommend anyone take it due to possible medical history and/medications that could lead to complications and assure you'd be safe to take it.
But I can say I know in my soul they worked for us. So please.....don't go out to where you purchase farming or livestock supplies. Please don't buy an 80ml bottle of ivermectin and a syringe preferably with a blunt tip needle for ease of drawing up 1ml per 100lbs of body weight to administer oral.
But please know that while I may enjoy a good forum argument here and there, I still love you all like play cousins.
