It's official. We now have the most badass supporters.

James Hetfield? Since when?

I didn't even know "the cowardly lion" was a badass.

Yeah, that was great to see Vince take Ron and Carol to his red carpet event. His characters are always working a microphone in his films, I hope he can stand up and speak for the Revolution come 2012 campaign time!

We can work on the finesse of his opinions later, but its good to get more influencial people on board.

Sell the idea, not RP.

On Guns, taking away guns from innocent law abiding people takes away their ability to defend themselves from the crooks that would use their guns. Criminals dont want guns to be legal, it makes their work more dangerous.

Drugs: The reason drugs are dangerous are because of the associated risk of using or posessing drugs. The associated risk sets the market price and gives drug dealers power. Hence, the power drugs give drug dealers comes from the LAW and not from the drugs themselves or the money, those are just end results of the original consequence. Criminals dont want drugs to be legal, they wont be able to sell their drugs for a profit.

I used to like Metallica (some of their music). However i turned to disliking them when they started sueing kids for downloading their music. Turns out their really greedy sob's after all :( kind of like disney/rat sueing childs daycare centers for putting a picture of Mickey on their wall.

Lets see here, some people that are self-proclaimed RP fans/libertarians/freedom lovers:

-Chuck Norris
-Neil Peart
-Jesse Ventura
-Penn Jillette
-Clint Eastwood
-Tom Selleck
-James Hetfield (Metallica)
-Prodigy (Mobb Deep)
-Joe Rogan (Fear Factor, UFC)

Now we got this guy:

ahem... i'll forgive the oversight this time. ;) :)

The guy in my avatar is a UFC fighter and super badass. While he never actually mentioned Ron, he's on our side.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Monson
On January 14, 2009, Monson was charged with First Degree Malicious Mischief, for vandalizing the Washington State Capitol by spray-painting "an anarchy symbol, a peace symbol and the words 'no poverty' and 'no war'"[7] on the large columns at the front of the building. A warrant was issued by a Thurston County Superior Court Judge [8] after pictures of Monson committing the crime were printed in ESPN magazine

my new hero. for personal reasons, I wish he'd have left the anarchy out, but meh, he'll come around i'm sure...

Where the heck was Nolan Ryan during the Presidential Campaign? I don't think I heard a peep out of him.

out fishin' at choke canyon.

i don't blame him. if i didn't live in the cursed city, that's where i'd be right now...

What product do you make? Can I steal it that way we can be in line with Ron Paul's stance on capitalism?

And suing daycare's for hanging mickey posters in the classroom is different. I'm sure the school bought the poster and then hung it on the wall. They were not making fake Disney posters and using Mickies image out by the road in order to increase attendance in order to make a profit and they weren't selling fake posters to turn a profit either. So I don't understand your comparison. Downloading other peoples profits is stealing. Or is it only stealing when the Federal Reserve or the Government does it?

Also please don't confuse my statements with my opinion on the RIAA and the MPAA. They desperately need a new business model unless they plan on detaching themselves from their demographic. But it is stealing Metallica's money none the less.

But it is stealing Metallica's money none the less.

Not if you had no intention of buying their schlock in the first place.

Let me ask you something though. When I buy a used CD from a friend, or they give it to me themselves, have
I stolen Mehblehllicka's profits then too? Perhaps they should have gone after CD Warehouse instead?

lets hear more about Neil Peart! I didnt know he was a supporter.

He isn't a Ron Paul supporter that I know of, but he is a libertarian.

"Besides its musical ambition and instrumental proficiency, there is one other thing that sets Rush apart from most bands -- the strong libertarian/Objectivist themes in its lyrics, which are written by Peart. The band's 1976 album, 2112, was even dedicated to "the genus of Ayn Rand." The album, inspired by Rand's novel Anthem, is about a future society where the rediscovery of the guitar threatens a totalitarian society. It's no surprise that Rush is the only band ever cited in the Journal of Ayn Rand Studies."

Now you know why Rand Paul is always quoting Rush lyrics.
