It's Official - We are on the PA ballot

Big round of applause to the PA supporters who made this happen, stand up and pat yourselves on the back.

Thanks and remember the delegate filings (full slate and alternates), organize to maximize vote coverage so we get all those yummy unbound delegates.

Also, should have some people working on challenges for Romney, Santorum and Gingrich sigs. Imagine if Santorum got challenged off the ballot in Penn.

If people have signs or whatever I would be willing to drive around my area and put them all over!

Just curious. What makes an UNOFFICIAL candidate listing OFFICIAL?

THIS.

My guess is that a campaign asks that they be on the ballot, which is done unofficially. Once the signatures come in and are verified, it becomes official.

Nothing is official yet. We dont even know if we have enough signatures.

Unfortunately despite what ppl on this forum think of Santorum, I think he will get quite a few votes in PA.

Yeah, PA has its share of dumb voters. Heck they gave Gov. Swindell two terms. What's that tell ya?

The only people in PA who will vote for frothy are ones who have name recognition but had their head in the ground when he was a rep.

Very nice job everyone in PA!

I can probably speak for most of us here that were across the country but we were monitoring and biting our nails everyday until deadline.. This was a very nice post to wake up to!

We had over 4000, did you read the thread? You've been acting pretty trollish lately.

Well, I read some of it. I was under the impression that nothing is final until the following but If youre right and I hope thats the case, then yay.

I was definitely worried about the PA situation to the point where I called the campaign for answers. Not sure how thats "trollish". Still worried TBH.

They're better off in front of people's houses. Your neighbors who drive by see who you support, and they associate people they know with support for Ron Paul. Also, there is less of a chance of them being taken down for being on public property.

Too much paranoia in this forum. People scream bloody murder about every little thing. It's a huge turn-off.

The RP campaign hired petitioners who got enough signatures, but they were of questionable quality, so they turned to the delegate teams for signatures for Paul, whome they had previously told not to worry about it. The last minute rush was to switch gears and, as a cautionary measure, get some more signatures for Paul. The delegate teams likely doubled his signature count, and these signatures are of good quality, most of which will pass if challenged.

They say, as a rule, that 33% of signatures in a typical petition drive should be considered unreliable. Ergo, if you collect more than 3000, you are statistically unlikely to be challenged off. From what I've been seeing, we are well past that mark. Nobody panic.

The only thing I want to know is if the campaign has anyone reviewing and challenging the other candidates' signatures.
