Sick and tired of GOP games, and ashamed to be a Republican.

When/If Ron goes Indy, so do I....

Same here... I never thought I would ever consider leaving the Republican party but this election process has made me realize a lot of things.

There should be a rule against making threads when the poster is emotional.

Dig deep, and keep fighting. For crissakes, we're going to be in this for at least another month.

Yes, I suppose anger and disappointment are emotions.

But how can one support such a corrupt institution?

We're attempting to change that. It's a long and hard fight, with many failures along the road.

It's no different than the majority of Americans not voting because they feel that all politicians are evil and corrupt - their vote is worthless. A good many of them now support Paul, realizing that there is such a thing as honest politics.

Keep on keepin' on.

Are you not ashamed of the GOP?

Amen to that. Except, I'm joining the Libertarian Party if Ron Paul loses the primary.

I've been independent since 2004. I don't affiliate myself with any party and I'm only doing it because Ron Paul is running.

It doesn't really matter what you are as long as you keep true to yourself, you don't have to have a label.

I never realized how nasty the GOP was until this race. They can't handle someone with slightly more traditional views!

The GOP doesn't deserve Ron Paul. It's a joke of a party that deserves to be flushed. I sincerely hope that Paul repudiates the GOP and runs an independent election campaign. I can't wait to change my registration back to "decline to state". Being called a republican is an insult.

Dude you give up too easily. Get pissed. Stay pissed and change what you dont like. If you are in LA change that odd caucus situation.

Dont like Diebold. Get rid of them in your state.

Dont like politicians? Join Wearechange.

But dont join a tiny fractured party hoping to change the world while you go retreat to your safe little area and dont affect anything.

OK Libs/inds/undecided go ahead and flame me.

if the gop fails to nominate Ron Paul, then i can assure you with there mocking and continued tactics,i will leave the gop along with many of my friends. the minute they turn there back on ron paul,I WILL TURN MY BACK ON THE GOP,the gop is making sure they lose the next general elction ,im 100% positive of this now.

Are you not ashamed of the GOP?
Sure I am.

But I won't let my emotions get the better of me. A 3rd party candidate has NO SHOT. Period. ZERO. Zip. Zilch. NONE.

We've got all of this work into joining the GOP, learning their tactics etc. and as soon as the ride gets bumpy, people want to turn their backs on that?

Crazy.

Imagine if all of the Goldwater conservatives had quit the party after '64.

Y'all better toughen up, revolutions are won by people with resolve, not impatience.

The GOP wants you to drop out. They don't want you hanging around trying to shift their direction toward honesty and integrity. Just as RP has been saying, the rules and laws are biased against 3rd parties. This is why he continues to use the GOP vehicle -the cards are stacked in their favor. Now that they are but a skeleton of their former self, this is the perfect time to invade the GOP and try to gain positions within their ranks and change the direction of the GOP.

If RP had the same attitude, he would have dropped out of Congress because he is totally outnumbered and can't get anything accomplished without support and amidst all the shenanigans that play out there.

We need to infiltrate the dying GOP, take it over and change it, just as the neocons did so well these past 30 years.

Congratulations, you have given up and lost all chance of ever becoming a serious force anywhere.

Washington would be oh so proud of you, giving up.

No worries, I'm sure we'll see you after Trenton.

My Father said if I didn't want socialism or income tax that I should move to some third world country. I said if he wanted to live in a Totalitarian state, he should move to China. We get along famously, and often share little jabs at each others political perspectives.

However the principle is I am not leaving my country or my party, I will stay and fight for my beliefs.
