Why does everyone that says regime changes dont work never mention Japan or Germany or South Korea which have thriving democracys and have stabilized the regions for over 80 years and are some of the most prosperous countries in the world?

Of course it was regime change.
We gave the power to the people of Japan.
Imperial Japan was a theocracy that ruled Japan and other territories like Korea.
In Imperial Japan the emperor was god.
We changed that and now they are a democracy where the common people rule.
So is South Korea which was part of Japan from the early 1900s till the collapse of the Japanese Empire. They spoke Japanese and they were considered ethnically Japanese.
Thats called a regime change and it lasted the rest of the 20th century and it has created peace in the region.

The empire of Japan certainly did.
They were considered out of island Japanese.
They spoke Japanese from like 1910 to 1945.
So did Taiwan until we liberated Taiwan and did regime change there.
