The United States has improved in some areas and worse in others. The United States will probably continue the trend toward more socialism indefinitely.

Some areas of personal freedom have improved. Marijuana is becoming legalized. Gay marriage is legal. Homeschooling is legal.

You live in a failed , barbaric society that lacks wisdom . It will not improve . In america your property is not protected by law . If you fail to pay your property tax it will be auctioned . This is one reason america cannot be Great Again.

Any society that steals from the productive under force and gives it to others will be failed . In a non failed society voluntary , local charity can meet this for the few who really need it . This society is so failed it does little but expand this fail behavior .
